The pathological changes of chronic small intestinal coccidiosis in chickens were mainly in the middle part of small intestine and duodenum. The intestine was significantly enlarged, and a large number of red bleeding spots or gray-white necrotic spots with large millet grains could be seen from the serous surface of the intestine. When the intestinal canal is opened, it can be seen that the intestinal mucosa is inflamed and swollen, the surface is rough, and the intestinal contents are thick viscous exudates, often mixed with small blood clots.
