Prevention and treatment of vitamin A deficiency in chickens: prevention is mainly to pay attention to feed coordination. Feed should be rich in vitamin An and carotene feed, such as cod liver oil, carrots, yellow corn, pumpkin, alfalfa and so on. 10000 international units of vitamin A can be added per kilogram of feed during treatment. In order to prevent the oxidation of vitamin A, ethoxyquine or vitamin E can be added to the feed.
