First, judge according to the estrous cycle. In general, after the sow is in estrus and no longer in estrus after a cycle of estrus (18 to 25 days), we can preliminarily judge that the sow is pregnant. Especially for the sows with normal estrus cycle before mating. Second, judge according to the external performance of sows. After breeding, the sows showed gluttony, sleepiness, fast recovery, gentle temperament, careful action, bright fur close to the body, abdominal circumference gradually increased, vaginal dryness, shrinking into a line, and tail drooping. If after another 18 to 25 days, the sow still does not show estrus, it can be determined that the sow is pregnant.
