Now the price of straw mushroom is stable. I want to grow straw mushroom but I don't know what can be used as raw material for straw mushroom cultivation. The raw materials for the cultivation of straw mushroom are relatively extensive, and now the waste fiber of many crops can be used to cultivate straw mushroom. The raw materials available in daily life are briefly introduced to the majority of mushroom farmers as follows. 1. Straw. Straw mushroom has a long history, and its formula and cultivation mode are various, which can be cultivated with raw material or fermented material. Using it as raw material, it can produce bacteria quickly, the technology is easy to master, the disease is relatively less, and the yield of straw mushroom is high. In many parts of our country, this kind of raw material is widely used. 2. Cottonseed hull. Cottonseed hull is rich in nutrition, loose texture, strong heat preservation and moisture retention, and good ventilation, so it is an ideal raw material for cultivating straw mushroom. However, because the price of cottonseed shell has risen in recent years, the cost of using it to cultivate straw mushroom is a little high, so at present, there are not many mushroom farmers who make good use of cottonseed shell to cultivate straw mushroom. 3. Cotton waste. Waste cotton is the waste material of cotton mill and cotton oil factory, which is rich in cellulose, which is very suitable for the growth characteristics of straw mushroom mycelium, and the heat preservation and moisture retention performance of waste cotton is not inferior to that of cottonseed hulle. the yield of straw mushroom is much higher than that of other natural fiber raw materials, so the cultivation of straw mushroom with waste cotton is widely promoted all over the country. 4. Corn straw (or corncob). This raw material is generally used as firewood burning or retting fertilizer in rural areas, and its utilization value is very low. if it is used to cultivate straw mushrooms, its economic value will be greatly improved. It should be noted that some nutrients should be added to the formula or mixed with other culture materials to increase the yield of volvariella volvacea. 5. Soybean straw. It is very good to use soybean straw to cultivate other varieties of edible mushrooms. after our experiments, it is also feasible to use it to cultivate straw mushroom, and its cultivation mode can choose the border planting method of direct seeding with raw materials. 6. Wheat straw. Wheat is cultivated in a large area in the north of China, a large amount of wheat straw can be used to cultivate straw mushroom every year. It has been proved that the effect of using wheat straw to cultivate straw mushroom is not worse than that of rice straw. 7. Waste bacterial bran. We grow the waste of Flammulina velutipes, Flammulina velutipes, Flammulina velutipes and other edible mushrooms, in which the nutrients have not been consumed, and there is full use value. Because the production cycle of volvariella volvacea is short, the nutrients needed by the mycelium of volvariella volvacea can be fully supplemented in these wastes, so in the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes and other large areas, we can make full use of these raw materials to cultivate straw mushrooms. 8. Dry leaves. In recent years, there are many trees such as fast-growing poplar in many areas of our country, and a large number of leaves can be collected in autumn, and it is also a high-benefit project to cultivate straw mushroom with leaves in shady land in summer. There are many raw materials that can be used to cultivate volvariella volvacea, so we will not go into detail here. In short, we should adopt measures in accordance with local conditions, widely select materials and flexibly use various cultivation models in order to achieve the high yield and high efficiency of volvariella volvacea.
