Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Phyllostachys pubescens can be cultivated in water or soil. If it is hydroponics, then we should pay attention to regular change of water, pay attention to the water quality, but also need to use some nutrient solution. In addition, do not put it in the place where televisions and fans often blow. If it is soil culture, then choose the soil with as much nutrition as possible, and provide the right amount of fertilizer, sufficient water and a certain amount of light.

1. Hydroponic plant

(1) change water regularly: if it is just after taking root, it is not suitable to change water too frequently. After the water has evaporated, you can replenish it, but don't change it too often. After that, it can be maintained normally, but the frequency of changing water is not the same in different seasons. If it is summer, it can be changed every two days or so; if it is winter, it can be changed every ten days or so.

(2) pay attention to the type of water: the water quality has a great influence on the plant. It cannot be dirty water or water containing grease. You can choose lake water, river water, etc., preferably electrolyzed ionized water.

(3) nutrient solution: in order to make the plant grow better, the nutrient solution can also be used to help it grow. You can also use brandy, and the effect is good.

(4) in addition, you can't put it next to the TV set, and don't put it in a place where the wind is too strong, so that you can grow well.

2. Soil culture plants

(1) soil: choose soil with as much nutrition as possible, so that the growth of the plant will not be short of nutrients.

(2) Fertilizer: after using fertilizer, the growth of the plant will be obviously better. The main seasons are spring and summer, and some compound fertilizers are available. But the concentration should not be too high, about 1% will be fine.

(3) watering: provide sufficient water, but do not accumulate water. Sufficient water can promote plant growth, but too much water can pose a threat.

(4) Light: proper light exposure is necessary if the plant is to grow well. Too strong light can not, usually provide scattered light on the line.
