Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Recently, many places have gone into the high temperature, but there are also many areas that are still in the water, and the moments have been scrubbed by the heavy rain. Raising rose at this stage, many flower friends will relax their vigilance and feel that it is a good thing to be drenched in the rain.

Recently, all parts of the country have gone into high temperatures, but there are still many areas still soaked in water, and the circle of friends has been brushed by heavy rain. At this stage of raising roses, many flower friends will relax their vigilance, feel that the rose rain, is a good thing, but do not know, do not pay attention, will also have a "big event."

In areas where it has rained recently, many flower friends 'roses are being hit by wind and rain. The weather destroys not only branches, but also various diseases and insect pests. The first to bear the brunt, not red spiders, nor black rods, but yellow leaves, see this, many flower friends question face? Isn't this normal? Right, too much moisture will yellow the leaves, but what if it wilts? This is the "big deal" that comes out of raising roses on rainy days.

Many flower friends will feel that in this environment rose wilting, yellow, is caused by too much rain, in fact rose rain and not much relationship, a lot of land planting and outdoor rose are in the rain, but also did not say these flower friends rose wilting ah, some still grow very good.

Moreover, sufficient rain is also beneficial to rose shoots, so we can see that ground-grown roses often send out many shoots in the rainy season. Some indoor planting flower friends will specially move the rose out on rainy days, let the rose accept the baptism of wind and rain, and then quickly use the organic liquid fertilizer special for the rose after the rain, dilute 500 times, irrigate the roots once, on the one hand, enhance the disease resistance, and secondly, increase the ability of shooting.

Back to our question above, why did the potted roses turn yellow after a few days of rain? In the rose rain after the problem, the most common reason is the basin soil ponding, resulting in rotten roots. Either the basin problem, basin drainage strength is not enough, leading to water accumulation, or drainage work is not done well, he did not clear the residual rainwater on the basin soil in time, let the drainage system play a role, so that in good drainage holes can not supply. Therefore, if you want to alleviate this kind of yellow caused by stagnant water, it is best to solve the root cause first. As long as the water is discharged, everything will be solved.

As for the problem of pot soil, many flower friends use coconut brick soil to cultivate rose, or general nutrient soil to plant rose, these two kinds of soil are very water-retaining, in general, naturally is a maintenance tool, but in this kind of weather, after a long time of rain, the pot soil accumulated too much water, not easy to dry, so that the root system is stuffy in the hot and humid environment and causes stuffy roots.

This kind of soil is generally mixed by myself, and the particles account for 1/3 of the total volume, so as to ensure water permeability and ventilation, even in the rainy season, there will be no ponding.

In addition to the problem of soil, nature is the pot, flower pot drain hole blocked, I believe many flower friends have, some flower pot drain hole is relatively small, easy to block, in rainy days water is also common. We should dredge the drainage hole in time to ensure the drainage of water. We can poke it with a wooden stick to loosen the soil around the hole to ensure the quality of water penetration.

The flowerpot also has an attachment, that is, the tray, which is improperly used to cause ponding. Indoor flower friends use more pots, indoor watering in order to prevent water flow everywhere, most will choose to use pots to receive water.

But in a prolonged rainstorm outdoors, it was a death wish. The basin has been placed on the tray, which will make the water flow back into the basin, resulting in poor drainage. Moreover, there is always water in the tray, so the basin soil cannot be dried and wet. Therefore, yellow leaves and wilting problems will occur in the rainy season for several consecutive days.

Rainy rose rain is a small matter, ponding will be out of the "big thing", if you are where it is raining, then hurry to see how your flowerpot drainage!
