Muramatsu Seiji (sachie muramatsu), a Japanese lighting writer and craftsman, lives in Tokyo.

After graduating from university, I joined the famous Kaga you Zen workshop in Kanazawa Prefecture to explore the value and application of Japanese paper in contemporary life.

Since 2003, Muramatsu has applied paper and Kaga Zen techniques to lamps and lanterns to produce hard and paper lamps, which are also beautiful, but can not show the permeability and flexibility of paper.

After that, inspired by nature, Muramatsu began to make use of the dyeability and plasticity of the paper to produce unique flower-shaped paper lamps, which not only made the lamps more decorative, but also made the home space lively, and quickly swept the Internet because of its exquisite shape and good decoration.

After that, Muramatsu did not meet the current situation, but constantly explored and improved to make the paper flower lamps more practical and beautiful, and let the flowers flicker and bloom together with the lights.

Today, we not only share Muramatsu's new works on paper lamps and lanterns, but also share a tutorial on "making something". You can not only see the process of making flower lanterns, but also try to make one yourself.
