Potted jujube trees can blossom in that year, some of them can bear fruit, and the leaves are small and red. Jujube potted trees can be planted in open spaces, houses and balconies with better light conditions. This paper introduces the breeding methods of potted jujube trees for reference.

1. Pots and nutritious soil: potted jujube trees can choose tile pots, pottery pots, plastic pots and so on. The nutritious soil is mixed with 1x2 legume crop straw compost soil and 1pea 2 garden soil, add a small amount of sand, and mix well with 1 kg of 25% nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer per cubic meter of nutritious soil.

2. The varieties with developed root system were selected and planted in the dormant period of jujube. Put a few pieces of broken tiles on the seepage hole of the basin, put a small amount of sand at the bottom of the basin, and then add part of the nutrient soil. Spread the root system of the jujube tree in the basin, add nutritious soil while patting the edge of the basin, and finally gently compacted and watered once. After a period of time, the basin soil sinks and then some nutritious soil is added, leaving the basin mouth a few centimeters deep without filling as a watering gate.

3. Fertilizer and water management potted jujube trees generally began to blossom in June, when the plants had higher requirements for humidity. Water the basin every day on sunny days to keep the soil moist. The fine weather in spring and autumn should be watered every 1 to 2 days, and anti-freezing water should be watered when the basin soil is dry in winter.

Potted jujube trees mainly apply cake fertilizer and organic fertilizer every 7 to 10 days. Jujube branch and leaf growth period, flower bud development period and young fruit growth period are the main periods of nutritional demand, at this time, organic fertilizer can be applied twice, and then 0.3% urea can be applied once to supplement the mineral nutrition demand of the tree. The application of phosphate fertilizer should be increased during the autumn fruiting period, and 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution should be applied twice.

4. Flower and fruit management

The main results are as follows: (1) girdling during flowering and fruit preservation can increase the fruit setting rate. When the flowering amount of the jujube tree reaches 30% to 40%, the girdling is carried out at the base of the trunk, and the mouth width is generally 0.2 cm. Jujube trees like light, potted jujube trees should be placed in a place with good ventilation and light transmission to facilitate fruit setting. Spraying 10ppm to 15ppm gibberellin and 0.3% urea solution at flowering stage can increase the fruit setting rate. Spraying 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate twice during jujube fruit expansion can increase the fruit setting rate. When there are about 3 jujube crutches on the jujube head of non-backbone branches, picking the heart of the jujube head can also improve the fruit setting rate.

(2) when the fruit of potted jujube tree is too much or the fruit is sparse and uneven, the fruit should be thinned to remove the poor quality and small fruit in the dense part. The fruit that the flower grows in the later stage is not easy to mature, for example, there are more fruits in the early flower development, and when the fruit in the later stage is dry to the early fruit growth, the late fruit should be thinned.

5. The trunk shape can be used for pruning potted jujube trees. The trunk is 20 to 30 cm high, with about 5 main branches on the leading trunk and branches on the main branches. Potted jujube trees should be pruned from February to March to remove useless branches, cross branches, over-dense branches and so on. In order to extend the jujube head of the backbone branch, the first and second branch under the cutting mouth should be cut off, otherwise the main bud will not germinate. The branches to be used for fruit should be shrunk to the 2-year-old part, and the secondary branches under the cut should not be cut off.

6. the main diseases and insect pests of potted jujube are jujube moth, tortoise wax shell worm, jujube armyworm, jujube inchworm, jujube mad disease and so on. Jujube moth, jujube armyworm and jujube inchworm can be sprayed with 3000 times insecticidal liquid in the larval stage. The tortoise wax shell beetle can be scraped during the dormant period of jujube trees, or sprayed with 50% dichlorvos 800 times solution during the nymph stage. The use of ladybugs, mantis and other natural enemies prey on pests, the effect is also very good. Potted jujube trees with jujube mad disease should be pulled out of the pot and buried deeply in time.

7. Change pots or change nutritious soil to plant jujube trees in pots and change larger pots after growing in pots for 2 to 3 years. In the dormant period, the jujube tree is pulled out of the basin, the root mat and a small amount of roots are removed, and then the soil is loaded into the basin and nutritious soil is added. If you do not change a large pot of potted jujube, you should also change the nutritive soil for about 2 years to facilitate the growth of jujube. After pulling out the jujube tree, remove the root pad and a small amount of root system, add the nutrient soil, and then put the original jujube tree soil into the basin, add enough nutrient soil and pour enough water.

8. Overwintering, putting potted jujube trees indoors or in a shed can survive the winter safely, and areas that are not too cold in winter can also survive the winter in the open field. Cover the pot with some grass and check whether the pot soil is dry before the cold spell comes. if the pot soil is dry, it should be watered once to help potted jujube trees survive the winter safely.
