There are three main ways to supplement organic fertilizer in mountain orchards: first, interplanting green manure to increase soil organic matter. Most of the mountain orchards are acid and poor soil. After fruit picking, before hanging fruit, around the orchard from autumn to spring, vigorously expand the interplanting of legume green manure, improve soil texture, is a good way to supplement organic matter. For example, planting leguminous forage, Ziyunying, peanut, soybean and so on have rhizobium green manure, which can fix a large amount of nitrogen in the soil and absorb free nitrogen in the air, can significantly fertilize the soil, and use intercropping green manure as base fertilizer to bury under fruit trees at full flowering stage. Two years after planting, the organic matter in the soil was more than doubled, which significantly improved the soil structure and ensured the normal growth of fruit trees. Second, the orchard is covered with grass. Long-term grass mulching in the orchard will not only increase fertilizer and keep fat, but also keep moisture and temperature. Grass mulching in mountain orchards is carried out from summer to winter. Grass mulching in summer and autumn can cool down and moisturize and prevent soil erosion, while grass mulching in winter can keep warm and prevent freezing. The mulch can be made of grass, fallen leaves, rice stalks, etc., up to 8m / 10cm thick, and then turned into the soil to achieve the purpose of increasing fertilizer and improving the soil. Third, raise livestock and poultry and fish, and solve the fertilizer source on the spot. According to the practice of fruit farmers in Meixian County, farms are set up near mountain orchards to raise fish, pigs, cattle, sheep, three birds and other livestock and poultry. Use animal dung to generate biogas, biogas lighting, cooking, biogas slurry (residue) to fatten fruit trees. The combination of planting and breeding, recycling and solving the fertilizer source on the spot can not only supplement the organic fertilizer in the orchard, but also save labor and cost. The ecological and economic benefits of the orchard with the combination of planting and cultivation are very significant.
