The red fire ant is a very harmful pest, which may cause death after it bites, so this pest is a very serious pest. After being bitten, we must deal with it in time. We can't ignore him and let it bite without treatment. So how is he going to prevent it? How to deal with the bite? what are the symptoms after the bite?

Control methods: according to the Standard operating procedure of Red Fire ants Reconnaissance, Control, planting and Earth and Stone Movement Control in the Construction Base. In order to achieve the short-term goal (lifting of movement control), interlaced use of granules and baits, and 15 days after each control, if no invasive red fire ants are found, the area, location, manpower, pesticide use records and photos after the completion of each control are detailed in the report and reported to the Animal and Plant Disease Prevention and Quarantine Bureau of the Committee of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan for review and lifting of mobile control (figure 5).

After lifting the mobile control, according to the "Red Fire Ant Standard operating procedure", the bait trapping method is used to detect the control effect of invading red fire ants once a month. If no invasive red fire ants are found for 6 months, report to the Animal and Plant Disease Prevention and Quarantine Bureau of the Agricultural Commission of the Executive Yuan for review (which will be handled by the National Red Fire Ant Control Center after August 100) to lift the control of the epidemic area.

Local vesicles often occur after bites, resulting in intense burning sensations such as bee stings, and skin rashes, itching and blisters. If bitten by a large number of red fire ants, excessive accumulation of toxins can lead to serious complications such as local tissue necrosis and hemolysis. Some physically sensitive people will have allergic reactions such as urticaria, face, swelling of eyes and throat, chest pain, apnea, dysphasia, paralysis and heart disease due to the water-soluble toxic protein in the venom. Severe cases can cause anaphylactic shock and die.

How to deal with red fire ant bite? If the symptoms are mild, clean with clean water or soapy water, and apply ice on the wound by yourself, or use antihistamines, steroid ointments and other drugs under the instructions of the doctor. Do not crush blisters or pustules if there are blisters or blisters, so as not to cause secondary bacterial infection to become cellulitis or scar wound.
