Low application rate of potash fertilizer reduces crop yield
At present, the input of chemical fertilizer in agricultural production has achieved remarkable results, but there is still irrationality, there is still a lot of room for the development of scientific fertilization, the most prominent is the unreasonable proportion of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Crops have a large demand for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, the ratio of chemical fertilizer nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 0.39 and 0.22, the proportion of nitrogen and phosphorus tends to be reasonable, but the proportion of potash fertilizer is too low, most farmers do not even know that crops need potash fertilizer. At present, the use of organic fertilizer, especially farm manure, is decreasing, which leads to serious potassium deficiency in farmland. According to the minimum nutrient law, crop yield is determined by the effective plant growth factor with the smallest relative content in the soil. Therefore, in the case of lack of potassium, the excessive application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer can not increase the yield, on the contrary, it will increase the cost of agricultural production and cause soil pollution. The proportion of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium required by different crops is different. In general, crops need potassium at the same level as nitrogen, or even more than nitrogen (such as potatoes). At present, ignoring the application of potash fertilizer in agricultural production not only reduces the yield, but also increases the production cost, affects the income and reduces the production enthusiasm of farmers because of the excessive application of other fertilizers.

Application of potash fertilizer in vegetables
There are many kinds of potash fertilizer, and different kinds of potash fertilizer have different application methods. Commonly used potash fertilizers include potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, potassium magnesium fertilizer and plant ash. Potassium chloride and potassium sulfate are physiologically acidic fertilizers and should be applied in combination with lime and organic fertilizer. Potassium chloride with high chlorine content should not be used to avoid chlorine such as potatoes.

Foliar fertilization technique
Do not spray before hot weather or rain, so as not to burn seedlings or lose fertilizer. It is appropriate to spray every morning or afternoon, and spray again every 7-10 days. When spraying cereal crops or crops with smooth leaves, add 0.1% adhesive (such as washing powder, washing), etc. Otherwise, it works.
