Five misunderstandings should be prevented in the use of plant growth regulators

Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Organophosphorus insecticides are the most widely used and most widely used insecticides in China, with a wide variety of varieties and different properties, but generally speaking, they have the following characteristics: (1) the insecticidal spectrum is wide. At present, some commonly used varieties of organophosphorus insecticides can control a variety of agricultural and forestry pests, and some can be used to control sanitary pests.

Many farmers have some obvious misunderstandings in the use of plant growth regulators, which seriously affect the effect of use. To this end, remind farmers to avoid entering the following five misunderstandings when using plant growth regulators. Misunderstanding one: replace "fat" with "medicine". Plant growth regulators can play a significant role only under sufficient water and fertilizer conditions, but some plant growth regulators have been exaggerated by manufacturers, causing some farmers to use them as fertilizers. Pinning the hope of promoting crop growth on plant growth regulators, instead of working on conventional techniques such as fertilization, irrigation, ploughing and loosening soil, will eventually affect the use of plant growth regulators. Misunderstanding 2: increase the dosage at will. Plant growth regulators belong to hormone substances, which generally require only a few grams or a few milliliters per mu. However, some farmers are always afraid that the less dosage will not have any effect, and they will increase the dosage or concentration of plant growth regulators at will, which not only can not promote plant growth, but will inhibit its growth, even lead to leaf deformity, dry shedding and death of the whole plant. Misunderstanding 3: use plant growth regulators directly with water. Because some plant growth regulators can not be directly dissolved in water, coupled with a small amount of plant growth regulators, if they are not prepared in advance into a "mother solution" and then prepared into the required concentration, it is difficult to mix at one time, which will also affect the effect of use. If the 92 ○ (gibberellin) is widely used in production, it must be dissolved in alcohol or warm spirits before it can be used with water. However, before using plant growth regulators, some farmers often do not read the instructions carefully, but use plant growth regulators directly with water to affect the efficacy. Myth 4: mix with other substances at will. Whether plant growth regulators can be mixed with chemical fertilizers, pesticides and other substances can only be determined after careful reading of the instructions and experiments. However, when many farmers use plant growth regulators, in order to save trouble, they are often mixed with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, etc., hoping to promote growth or protect flowers and fruits, supplement fertilizers or prevent diseases and pests at the same time, but if they are not mixed properly, they will get twice the result with twice the effort, or even in vain. Myth 5: spray at any time regardless of timing. Plant growth regulators must be used at critical times of plant growth (such as cucumber flower bud differentiation) in order to maximize their effectiveness. If you use it at the wrong time, you will not be able to get the desired effect, and even have side effects. Some farmers do not have enough understanding of this and think that no matter when plant growth regulators are sprayed, they can promote growth, increase production and increase income, so they do not look at the timing and spray at any time, resulting in poor spraying effect.
