Different fertilizers should adopt different fertilization techniques, and general late-acting fertilizers such as organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer should be used as base fertilizer.

More fertilizers are used in crop cultivation, and each has its own characteristics. For example, organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer, solid fertilizer and liquid fertilizer, a large number of elements and trace elements, single fertilizer and compound fertilizer and so on. Different fertilizers should adopt different fertilization techniques. Generally, slow-acting fertilizers such as organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer should be used as base fertilizer, quick-acting fertilizer should be used as topdressing, and inorganic fertilizer and organic fertilizer should be applied together. Application methods should be different, for ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, ammonium bicarbonate and other volatile fertilizers. It is best to apply it in the deep layer of the soil, which is beneficial to improve the fertilizer efficiency, avoid the contact between fertilizer and seeds and seedlings caused by shallow fertilization, and prevent seedling burning. It is not effective to apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers such as calcium superphosphate, potassium chloride and three-element compound fertilizer on the surface layer. It should be evenly mixed into the soil layer. For water-soluble fertilizers such as urea, high nitrogen compound fertilizer has a good effect of topdressing. In addition, phosphorus, potassium, boron, zinc, manganese, molybdenum and other fertilizers can also be used for extra-root topdressing.
