First, choose a suitable soil. Peanut is a kind of drought-tolerant and barren-tolerant oil crop, especially likes sandy land with good permeability and large temperature difference between day and night, but the fertility of pure sandy land is poor, which has a great influence on peanut yield. The yield of spring peanut covered with plastic film is high, and the demand for fertilizer is greater. In order to increase the yield of peanut to the greatest extent, the land with plastic film mulched spring peanut should be the best in sandy soil with more fertile soil.

Second, select suitable varieties. The growth environment of spring peanut with plastic film is superior, plastic film mulching can increase the soil temperature of the root system, the ability to preserve soil moisture is strong, the fertilizer use efficiency is high, the root system of peanut is developed, and the absorption and utilization of nutrients is also higher, so the yield of peanut is more significant. In order to improve the planting benefit, the spring peanut cultivated with plastic film mulching should choose the peanut varieties with high yield potential, high yield and strong disease resistance, such as Jihua 2, Jiyou 4, Luhua 11, Huayu 16, Huayu 18 and so on.

Third, sow seeds at the right time. Two misunderstandings are often encountered in production, one is to advance the sowing date at will, and the other is to delay the sowing date. Plastic film peanut sowing time is too early, easy to appear the phenomenon of seedling freezing, because of the unstable temperature in early spring, the temperature suddenly high and low, late spring cold, cold wave will bring a great threat to early sowing peanuts. The light appears but breaks the ridge in a second, and destroys the stubble seriously. Delayed sowing date, the role of plastic film mulching can not be brought into full play, and the listing period will be postponed accordingly, which will affect the income of growers. Fourth, achieve balanced fertilization. Peanut is a high-yield oil crop, which has a great demand for fertilizer, because it has the function of nitrogen fixation, the demand for nitrogen fertilizer is not very large, but the demand for phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is large. In order to achieve high yield, spring peanuts covered with plastic film must ensure an adequate supply of fertilizer, combine organic fertilizer with chemical fertilizer, and use organic fertilizer as base fertilizer. After the end of squatting seedlings, the available nitrogen fertilizer was applied once, 15 kg urea per mu, and 10 kg compound fertilizer at podding stage. In general, 5000 kg of farm fertilizer is applied per mu of land, and 30 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer is applied as base fertilizer at one time. Fifth, master the appropriate density. The cultivation density of spring peanut covered with plastic film should not be too small or too large, too small will affect the yield, and the fruit rate per plant will decrease, resulting in waste of seeds and reduction of yield. The cultivation mode of one film and two rows is usually adopted in production, with a row spacing of 30 cm, a plant spacing of 15 cm to 18 cm, a density of about 10000 holes per mu, two grains per hole, and a seed amount of about 16 kg per mu.
