Egg ducks increase production, female ducks from the beginning to the elimination of eggs, are called egg ducks. In general, the utilization period of egg ducks is about 350 days (150 ~ 500 days old), which is called the first laying year, and some are reused in the second and third year after molting, but their production performance decreases year by year and should not be retained. The following is an introduction to the five-character method of laying duck for high yield:

Repellent, that is, regular deworming.

After autumn, egg ducks are repelled by Ascaris lumbricoides once, each duck with half a piece of Ascaris lumbricoides, smashed and mixed in the feed, once lice, bathe the ducks with 0.2% trichlorfon solution, and drive Ascaris lumbricoides again after winter.

Light, that is, supplementary light.

After the ducks enter the shed (shed) at night, they should install electric lights. Every 10 square meters of shed should be equipped with a 40-60-watt bulb, which is about 1.2-1.5 meters high from the ground. If you graze in the wild, if there is no power supply, you can also install a horse lantern in every 5 square meters shed, which is 0.8 to 1.2 meters high and turns on all night. Under sufficient light, the ovulation inducer secretion of laying ducks increased, which could increase the egg production.

Hair, that is, induced hair "sex".

Generally speaking, the stronger the sexual desire of the laying duck, the higher the egg production. Therefore, 3% to 5% of male ducks should always be kept in laying ducks, which can promote the sexual function of laying ducks and increase egg production.

Change, that is, forced molting.

After the beginning of autumn, egg ducks stop moulting one after another, but due to the different body condition and development of each duck, the molting speed varies. Therefore, in order to shorten the breeding period of ducks, increase the laying rate and reduce the feed cost, manual molting can be adopted. Close the duck, stop eating and water on the first day, stop eating and stopping water on the second and third day, and pull out the thick tube hair of the duck's wings and tail, and return to normal feeding and management on the fifth day. 15-20 days after forced molting, the laying duck begins to lay eggs.

Release, that is, pay attention to fishy.

As the saying goes, raising geese is green and raising ducks is fishy. In order to make ducks lay more eggs, we should strengthen grazing and let them feed on small fish, shrimps, mussels and other animal feed in beaches and ditches.
