Spring is the season of sprouting, leaf spreading, branch elongation, heading, blooming and fruiting of grapes. How to strengthen grape management and control diseases and insect pests in spring in order to improve the yield and quality of grapes is a common concern of grape farmers. Then the three technical points of grape pest control in spring are as follows:

First, peeling: spread a layer of plastic film under the vines in early spring, then peel off the vines and put them on the film. At the same time, cut off the branches of diseases and insect pests, together with the dandruff on the film, take them out of the garden and burn them.

Second, deep ploughing: apply grape sprouting fertilizer and carry out a deep ploughing of the whole garden at the same time, the depth is about 25cm. In this way, the germs on the surface can be turned into the ground, thus reducing the occurrence and infection rate of diseases and insect pests.

III. Chemical control

1. Pre-bud control: in early spring, 7-10 days before the grape sprouting, the whole garden was thoroughly disinfected with 5 Baume stone sulfur mixture and 0.3% pentachlorophenol sodium, in order to eliminate the pathogenic bacteria in the vineyard and reduce the incidence of diseases.

2. Prevention and cure after sprouting: the occurrence of grape powdery mildew, black bean disease, black mildew and rot can be effectively controlled by spraying 0.5% Bordeaux solution with 200 times of Bordeaux solution every 12 days after sprouting.
