Spring is the peak period for Lentinus edodes to produce mushrooms because of the rise in temperature. At this time, the climate is changeable, if not managed properly, the yield and quality of Lentinus edodes will be greatly affected. Therefore, Lentinus edodes in spring should be carefully managed to achieve "six must and six precautions."

Lentinus edodes

First, water spraying management should look at the sky and prevent mildew. Spray water when the skin of Lentinus edodes tube is slightly dry on a sunny day, the humidity should not be too high, so as to avoid rotten tube caused by mold. Generally, after picking Lentinus edodes in the morning, spray water on the surface of Lentinus edodes tube with a sprayer, dry it for 30 minutes and then cover the film. Do not spray on cloudy and rainy days, do not spray before picking, and do not spray when the fungus tube is wet.

Second, the mushroom bed cover film should be flexible to prevent hypoxia. Every day, when picking Lentinus edodes, we should pay attention to the ventilation of the film and cover the film after harvest. When the temperature is higher than 20 ℃, both ends of the film should be opened for ventilation, and on muggy and rainy days. When the mushroom tube is immersed in water and returns to the mushroom bed, it happens to be attacked by low temperature or cold current, so it is necessary to cover the film and keep warm for 3 days. When the temperature is higher than 25 ℃, the film should be uncovered and ventilated 2-3 times a day.

Third, the alternation of dry and wet should be moderate to prevent getting out of control. After picking a tide of shiitake mushrooms, uncover the film and ventilate for 8-10 hours, spray water on a sunny day, cover the film strictly during the day to rejuvenate the hyphae, and ventilate for another hour after 12:00 to promote the occurrence of mushroom buds for 3-4 days in a row.

Fourth, the mycelium should be cleaned in time to prevent pollution. After picking a batch of Lentinus edodes, remove the moldy part of the mushroom tube with a knife, arrange it on the mushroom bed, let it ventilate and cover the film slightly after drying.

Fifth, the bacterial tube rehydration should be appropriate to prevent excessive dampness. After growing mushrooms in autumn and winter, a large amount of nutrients and water are consumed in the mushroom tube, so it is a key link in spring management to soak and fertilize the mushroom tube. But do not be too wet, so as not to cause mildew and mushroom rot.

Sixth, mushroom picking and processing should be timely and prevent from opening umbrellas. If shiitake mushrooms are harvested too late, it is easy to open umbrellas, usually when the bacterial membrane is broken, but the cover is not fully unfolded, and the mushrooms harvested on the same day should be processed on the same day.
