During the period of strawberry flowering and fruiting, growers need to create a growth environment with a field capacity of 80%, a temperature of 18 ℃ ~ 26 ℃ and daylight of 12 to 15 hours. The key points for managing strawberries during flowering and fruiting period are as follows:

Strawberry

1. Topdressing. In the first and middle of April, compound fertilizer or urea of 10 kg / mu should be applied per mu of strawberry field to accelerate strawberry plant growth and new leaf development, and promote strawberry flowering and fruiting. In addition, 0.3% 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be sprayed on strawberry leaves for 2 times.

2. Pick the stem. Removing the stolon of strawberries can increase the yield of strawberries by 40% to 50%, but an appropriate amount of strawberry stolons should be left for reproduction. Because excessive stems will consume a lot of nutrients of strawberry plants and affect the differentiation of strawberry flower buds, strawberry stolons are generally removed as soon as they grow, 3 or 4 times a year.

3. Shu Lei. The later flowers on the strawberry inflorescence often cannot form strawberry fruit, so they will consume plant nutrients without economic value, so they should be removed in time when the buds separate from each other. It is appropriate to remove about 20% of the inflorescences on the plant, and weak inflorescences do not need to be retained.

4. Padding fruit. Strawberry plants are short, and the fruit is easy to droop and touch the ground, which can not only be polluted by soil and pests, but also cause uneven coloring of strawberries. Wheat straw or chopped straw can be used to spread around strawberry plants.

5. It is acceptable. Ripe strawberries are soft and juicy and must be harvested in time to avoid decay.
