Spring is the period of hairy root, evergreen shoot, long flower spike, blossom and young fruit of red pomelo. During this period, if there are diseases and insect pests, lack of fertilizer and drought have a direct impact on the strong shoots, strong flowers and fruit setting rate of pomelo trees, which is the key period for the annual yield of Hongxin honey pomelo. Fruit growers must timely take various spring management measures in order to promote strong shoots and flowers of red-heart pomelo, increase fruit setting rate, and win a bumper harvest.

Honey pomelo

1. Fertilization: red-heart pomelo leaves and flowering are in the same period, which requires a lot of nutrition, so it is necessary to ensure that the fertilizer applied can meet the needs of pomelo growth. The resulting pomelo trees can be fertilized with 0.75 kg ammonium carbonate, 0.75 kg calcium superphosphate and 0.15 kg ammonium sulfate per plant, or 0.5 kg special fertilizer and 0.1 kg urea per plant. For young trees, a small amount of ammonium bicarbonate or trench burying with calcium superphosphate is selected.

Attention should be paid to pre-flowering fertilizer, and 15 days before flowering, pomelo trees should be supplemented with chemical fertilizer based on available nitrogen fertilizer to benefit strong flowers. Trees that produce 50 kg of red pomelo should be treated with 0.5 kg of calcium nitrate or ammonium nitrate, or 0.5 kg of special fertilizer for pomelo.

At the same time, combined with extra-root fertilization, before flowering, the grapefruit trees were sprayed with 150 grams of imported urea, 25 grams of ammonium molybdate, 100 grams of potassium chloride, 200 grams of magnesium sulfate and 150 milliliters of 130 cents per kilogram of water, and sprayed once every 7 days.

During flowering, 50 grams of boric acid and 25 grams of ammonium molybdate were sprayed with 50 kilograms of water, once every 7 days, for 3 consecutive times.

After 2 / 3 flowers and fruits were sprayed with 150 ml of flower and fruit nutrient solution, 200 grams of magnesium sulfate, 100 grams of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 150 grams of imported urea and 50 kilograms of water. Spray 92 ○ 10 days after flowering, adding 1 gram of 92 ○ to 50 kg of water.

2. Pay attention to spring shearing: put the spring shoots as far as possible, and the over-dense spring shoots at the top and periphery of the crown can be removed properly when pruning. The flourishing top spring shoot can cut off the total amount of spring shoot in the same year, so as to ease the growth potential, reduce the competition for tree nutrition and improve the flower quality.

3. Flower thinning and fruit thinning: thin and weak flowers and deformed flowers should be removed, and panicles of red-heart honey pomelo trees with large amount of flowers should be thinned. At the same time, thinning buds, leaving 4 robust buds per panicle and 120 robust buds per plant will be enough. Fruit thinning was carried out after the second physiological drop of Hongxin honey pomelo, and the abnormal fruit of weak fruit was removed.

4. Ring cutting to protect fruit: when the flower is half shedding, the spiral ring of the branch bearing red-heart honey pomelo is cut 2-Mel-3 rings to increase nutrition accumulation and fruit-bearing rate.

5. Pest control: the main diseases and insect pests in flowering stage of Hongxin honey pomelo are scab, bud maggots, anthracnose, aphids and so on. Master in the spring shoot 2 cm for disease control, medicament selection of copper soap solution, topzine, carbendazim, crown fungus copper and so on. Pest control: apply "1605" powder to control flower bud maggots before and after flower bud dew, or combine to control aphids, leaf insects and red spiders before and after flowering, and spray isocarbophos, dichlorvos, trichlorfon, etc.
