Corn

1. Prepare before broadcasting. Before sowing corn, it is necessary to apply enough basic fertilizer and make enough soil moisture. Apply about 4000 kg of organic fertilizer and 5 kg of diammonium phosphate per mu. Planting according to the size of rows, with a large row spacing of 0.6-0.8 meters and a small row spacing of 0.4 meters. The herbicide was sprayed 3-5 days before sowing corn, and then covered with plastic film to kill weeds and raise the soil temperature. The compact maize varieties with short growth cycle were selected for maize.

2. Sowing seeds. From late February to early March, the seeds were sown before and after the sting. Sow seeds with holes 3-5 cm deep in small rows, and the distance between corn plants is about 18 cm. Pay attention to inserting two rows of corn into each other when sowing. The sowing rate is 4-4.5 kg / mu, and the soil is covered after sowing. Then cover the plastic film with a small arch shed with a height of 30 to 40 centimeters.

3. Field management. The seedlings should be determined early, about at the 3-leaf stage of corn. Pay attention to proper ventilation, when the corn touches the top of the arch shed, it is necessary to break the membrane to introduce seedlings in time, so as not to burn the seedlings. In addition to fertilizing and watering in the critical period of corn, such as jointing, big trumpet mouth, male heading and so on, it should also be managed flexibly and watered immediately in case of drought. Appropriate amount of fertilizer can be added to the water when watering, and it is appropriate to apply 10 kg urea per mu of corn field.

4. Harvest. The harvest time of corn can be flexibly mastered. If the market price is high and the corn can be cooked, it can be harvested. If the market price is not high, it will be harvested after the corn is fully ripe. After the early spring corn is harvested, you can plant another crop of summer corn.
