Introduction of five hatching methods with high benefit in quail breeding
quail
Quail is a kind of strong edible poultry, which provides human beings with rich protein food-quail meat and quail eggs, which are processed into all kinds of food and sold in the market. quail eggs and meat are rich in nutrition, high in protein, low in cholesterol, tender in quail meat, rich in amino acids, and have a lot of medicinal value. It is universally recognized as a precious food and tonic in China, which is known as animal ginseng.
The most important way to hatch quails is to keep warm.
I. Natural hatching method
The main results are as follows: 1. Choose the hens with small size and strong nesting ability to hatch, and 30 eggs can be hatched at one time. In the early stage of hatching, when the hens leave the nest to eat, if the temperature is low, the nest should be covered with cotton blankets and other insulation. It is necessary to prevent hens from breaking eggs during hatching.
2. Hatching with pigeons, 6 or 8 hatched eggs can be put in each time. Methods: when the pigeon is ready to hatch after laying eggs, take out the pigeon eggs and put them in quail eggs. After the nestling comes out of its shell, it should be taken out and put into the incubator in time.
2. Hot water tank incubation method
Hatch with a water tank of the same caliber, an aluminum plate and a quilt for heat preservation. Put the eggs into a small mesh bag every 30 to 40 eggs, and then put them into an aluminum plate. The outside of the water tank is tightly wrapped with cotton wool for heat preservation, and warm water of 50 ℃ ~ 70 ℃ is put into the tank. The amount of water is subject to the bottom of the aluminum plate that will not be touched. Put the aluminum plate on the tank and cover it with a quilt. At the beginning of hatching, the temperature in the tank can be slightly higher, and at the same time, there is a large temperature difference between the eggs on the edge of the plate and the eggs in the middle, so that the eggs should be turned several times so that the temperature of the eggs is basically the same, and the eggs should be turned once every 4-6 hours. The water in the tank is usually changed once or twice a day, and only part of the water is changed each time. When hatching, you can put a thermometer in the aluminum plate to keep abreast of the temperature change.
Third, electric blanket incubation method
First spread a layer of cotton under the electric blanket, then cover the blanket with a layer of cotton blanket, put several square sticks of 3-5 cm square on top, put the egg plate on the square wood, stack 2-3 layers, cover the quilt, and then turn on the electricity to heat up. 10-12 hours after hatching, the temperature is checked every 30 minutes. After that, the temperature can be controlled by turning on and off the electric blanket, turning the eggs, drying the eggs and the thickness of the quilt. Turn the eggs five or six times a day.
Fourth, hot Kang hatching method
It is a kind of hatching method which is suitable to be used in the north. Making an adobe fire Kang and then hatching quail eggs on the Kang bed is basically similar to the electric blanket method.
5. Machine incubation method
There are many kinds of incubators sold in the market, and all the incubators used for poultry eggs can be used to hatch quails, but the distance between eggs on the egg plate can be changed to 2.6 cm.
