Cage culture of Loach

Loach is known as "ginseng in water". It is a small freshwater economic fish. It has the characteristics of wide distribution, strong fecundity, strong resistance, suitable for high-density breeding and so on. Through scientific and reasonable seedling specification and density in the pond, scientific water quality control, disease control and feeding full-price compound feed can achieve high yield and high efficiency.

Technical points:

(1) Pond conditions: ponds with convenient irrigation and drainage, convenient transportation and 1-5 mu should be selected.

(2) preparation before stocking: ① disinfected the pond with quicklime and bleach 15 days before stocking, and added fresh water a week later; ② surrounded the whole pond with polyethylene mesh (1.2m high) along the edge of the pond, buried 30 cm of soil at the bottom and supported by bamboo pole at the top. After the toxicity of ③ water body disappeared, the fermented and mature organic manure was piled in the four corners of the pond and in the fish ditch to cultivate the natural bait organisms in the pond. the application rate of organic fertilizer was 150kg / mu.

(3) stocking specification and density: the size of the loach seedlings is about 700 pieces / kg, and the stocking quantity is generally 30-50 000 pieces per mu.

(4) Water quality control: when the transparency of the pond water is more than 25 cm, organic manure should be applied to increase the natural bait organisms of Loach such as copepods and cladocera in the pond; when the transparency is less than 20 cm, topdressing should be reduced or stopped. The most suitable water temperature for Misgurnus anguillicaudatus to grow is 23-28 ℃. When the water temperature of the pond is higher than 30 ℃, the Loach will stop feeding and drill into the silt at the bottom of the pond to avoid the heat. In order to prolong the growth period of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, new water should be added frequently during the high temperature season in the feeding process.
