Chemical fertilizer is a double-edged sword, properly used to increase crop yield, otherwise cause drug damage. Today, the editor will share with the vegetable farmers the main points of topdressing eggplant in the open air.

Eggplant

First, cultivate strong seedlings: summer sowing eggplant is sown in the open field from late April to early May, and eggplant varieties that are heat-resistant, moisture-resistant and disease-resistant are selected. In the early stage of seedling raising, the arch shed is built on the border surface, which can protect against rain and sun exposure, and ventilation after emergence. When the two leaves are sandwiched, the seedlings are divided once, and the seedling age is about 60 days.

Eggplant seedling methods and seedling management can be carried out with reference to tomato, and note: ① eggplant germinates slowly, and the time of accelerating germination is 1-2 days longer; in the process of ② seedling-raising, the temperature of eggplant is 2-3 ℃ higher than that of tomato; the root system of ③ eggplant becomes essential earlier and the regeneration ability is poor, so when dividing seedlings or transplanting, we should take more soil as far as possible to avoid root damage.

Second, soil preparation and fertilization, timely transplant: eggplant avoid continuous cropping, can not be continuous cropping with tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and so on. Summer sowing eggplant is mostly planted after wheat harvest, which can be followed by cabbage, cauliflower, garlic and other ground stubble, which is called "wheat stubble eggplant".

Before planting, per hectare rotten organic fertilizer 75000~90000kg, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer 400~600kg, ploughing and leveling to make beds, trenching or digging holes to plant seedlings. During planting, biological fertilizer and fertile soil were mixed well and sprinkled into the planting hole. 50000 eggplant seedlings were preserved per hectare and watered after planting.

Third, skillfully applying topdressing: ploughing in time after planting, raising the soil temperature and promoting slow seedling. After slowing down the seedlings, no drought, no watering, such as dry, can be irrigated with a small amount of water, and ploughed for 2 or 3 times in time to squat seedlings, promote the root system of eggplant to develop in depth, and lay the foundation for eggplant plants to expand the absorption area and blossom and bear fruit. Squatting seedlings to the door eggplant "stare" period is over. Combined with watering, 15000kg is applied per hectare to rot the feces of acquaintances. The fertilization should not be too early or too late, too early is easy to crazy seedlings, too late, the pericarp is purple, affecting the development and branching of eggplant. In the flowering of eggplant and Simentou, eggplant needs the most fertilizer and water at this stage, generally watering one water every 5 to 6 days to keep the soil moist, combined with watering 15000kg mature human feces and urine or rotten cake fertilizer or nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer 225kg per hectare. After 1 time clean water, 1 time fertilizer water, carry on alternately, about every 15 days to apply fertilizer, a total of 8-9 times. In the middle and late ripening cultivation, 0.2% urea or 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be sprayed on the leaves, or diluted with biogas liquid fertilizer with water, which is beneficial to the growth and fruit setting of eggplant.

During the growth period of eggplant, the flowers and fruits of eggplant are caused by too high or low temperature, lack of light, malnutrition, and sudden dry and wet soil. Therefore, pay attention to drainage in the rainy season, prevent waterlogging, and avoid excessive use of potash fertilizer.

Eggplant generally takes about 20 to 25 days from flowering to tender fruit ripening, so it should be harvested and put on the market in time. The door eggplant harvests early, branches and fruit. Harvested in the morning, eggplant is fresh and shiny, and the commodity value is high.
