Raising pigs

If you want to feed pigs every day, if you want to get sick less, farmers should form the good habit of carefully observing the state of pigs. In order to detect anomalies as early as possible, reduce losses, specific observation of what, you can refer to the following aspects.

Breath observation. In healthy pigs, normal breathing is 10-20 times per minute; if abdominal breathing is too fast or too slow, it is not normal.

Eye observation. In healthy pigs, their eyes are bright and bright, and it is a sign of illness if they are found to have dark, red and feces eyes.

Movement observation. Healthy pigs have a constantly wagging tail and can respond quickly and sensitively to external stimuli. Healthy adult pigs are gluttonous and sleep. If you give food, you will come in response. When you are full and sleepy, when a stranger approaches, you will stand up and raise your eyes and keep shaking your tail. If there is a sagging head and tail and other phenomena, it is a sick pig.

Appetite observation. Healthy pigs have a strong appetite, eat more and faster, and can be finished in about 15 minutes when fed with normal food. If the pig responds slowly, eats slowly, eats less or refuses to eat, it should be regarded as sick.

Nasal disc observation. The nose plate of healthy pigs is clean and moist. If it is a sick pig, its nose plate will be dry and cracked or more dirty mucus will be attached.

Fecal observation. The feces of healthy pigs are agglomerated and soft. If appear sparse dung or dry hard abacus-like feces, and abnormal color, it is morbid.

Urine observation. Healthy pig urine is yellowish, clear and transparent; if the urine is turbid and opaque, it is a symptom of sick pigs.

Observation of quirks. If the pig nibbles on soil, bark and other foreign bodies, and restless, it means that the pig is sick.

Pigtail observation. The healthy pig's tail is curled up and moves freely; if it is found that the pig's tail is sagging and there is no response to touching the root of the hand, it is the performance of the sick pig.

Posture observation. Healthy pigs sleep on many sides and breathe with chest and abdomen breathing (depending on the situation, there is also abdominal breathing). If the dog is sitting and breathing with open mouth, it is a sign of illness.

Fur color observation. Healthy pigs, the coat color is bright and shiny, if the pig hair is rough, inelastic and messy, it is a sign of illness.

Skin observation. Healthy pigs have smooth and round skin and plump muscles, such as rough and inelastic pigskin, with swelling, ulcers, erythema, rotten spots and so on.

Neck observation. In healthy pigs, the head and neck move freely and there is no swelling and rigidity; if the head and neck of live pigs are uncomfortable or swollen and stiff, it is a sign of illness.
