Cow

High-yield dairy cows need to feed 80 kg-100 kg feed (equivalent to 20 kg-25 kg dry matter) every day to meet their physiological needs. The daily milk yield of high-yield dairy cows is more than 30 kg, and that of a lactation period is more than 6000 kg. As high-yield cows have to squeeze out a lot of milk, they need a lot of nutrients.

In order to digest and absorb the nutrients in these feeds, not only the work of digestive organs is tense, but also the metabolic function of the whole organism is also enhanced. Therefore, dairy cows must be physically strong in order to adapt to the activities of these physiological functions.

The dietary matching of high-yield dairy cows requires complete nutrition distribution, rich feed types, good quality and easy digestion and absorption. The diet is generally based on high quality hay, silage, root tuber and green succulent feed, with appropriate concentrate added at the same time. Because the green succulent feed is not only palatable, but also can promote the full secretion of digestive juice, so as to improve the utilization efficiency of other feed. Practice has proved that high and stable yield can not only rely on increasing concentrate. Only by adding concentrate properly on the basis of increasing coarse feed can we give full play to the role of concentrate.

The diet of high-yield dairy cows should ensure not only quantity but also quality, and the feed should include many kinds of amino acids such as lysine, tryptophan, arginine and so on. In other words, the higher the full price of protein in the diet of high-yield dairy cows, the better the effect on increasing milk yield. In addition, the more appropriate the proportion of coarse feed, succulent feed and concentrate in the diet, the better the quality, and the more appropriate the proportion of mineral supplement, the more high and stable yield.

Because of the large amount of feed to be eaten every day, high-yield dairy cows should be fed more than 4 times a day. Drinking water should be automatic drinking fountain, if there is no automatic drinking water fountain, the number of drinking water should be more than 5 times a day.
