Fish feed is one of the biggest costs of fish culture. Paying attention to scientific feeding methods is not only conducive to the healthy growth and rapid weight gain of fish, but also save feed, reduce the cost of fish culture and effectively improve the efficiency of fish culture. There are seven kinds of fish feed, and the feeding methods are very exquisite:

1. Pellet feed. Fish pellets are usually 2.5 mm in diameter and 5 mm in length, and can be fed directly in fish ponds. Check before feeding, if the feed is damp, do not feed it directly, but dry it first or dry it in the sun, and then feed it; if the feed is bad, it should not be fed again to prevent fish poisoning after eating.

Second, cake feed. Cake feed for small fish should be broken, soaked, ground and then fed, and then softened by feeding big fish.

Third, cereal feed. Large grains such as corn should be processed and crushed and fed to fish; small grains such as grains can be sprouted and fed to fish. Young grain white sprouts have high nutritional value, and fish eat easily, absorb quickly and gain weight quickly.

Fourth, green feed. After feeding large fish, the green feed can be fed directly after removing the soil; small fish should be chopped or beaten, then 0.2% salt should be mixed well, sprinkled and fed; the green feed will be chopped and cooked, mixed with appropriate amount of bran and soda, small fish prefer to eat.

Fifth, dregs and bran feed. Feed the small fish to soak the dregs and chaff feed in soft grinding, and feed the big fish to ferment them until they have the aroma of wine. Feed a small amount at first, and then increase it gradually, but it should not exceed 30% of the total daily feed.

6. Protein feed. Earthworms, maggots and insects are all high-class animal protein feeds for fish, which can be fed directly or dried into powder combined with other feeds to feed fish. For bulk animal feed, it should be chopped and ground and added with adhesive to make small pellets for feeding.

7. Fecal feed. Chicken manure, pig manure and cow manure are all good feeds for fish. The feces are dried and ground into powder, and then used in conjunction with other feeds in a certain proportion. The proportion of use should not be too high, and it is generally appropriate to use 40% / 50% chicken manure, 50% / 70% cow manure and 30% / 50% pig manure.
