Duck breeding in China originated more than 7000 years ago and has a long history. With the continuous improvement of large-scale and factory duck farming, China's duck industry is currently facing three major problems: first, "quality and safety"; second, "efficiency improvement"; and third, "environmental governance". These three problems lead to the repeated "closure" of duck eggs and duck meat in China, which makes it difficult to enter the international market and seriously restricts the development of domestic duck farming. In the face of the above problems, we are forced to change our mindset, change the feeding mode, and take the green and pollution-free route. "Ecological duck breeding" is a more popular way of raising ducks.

First, the basic model of ecological duck breeding.

At present, the basic feeding mode of ecological duck breeding is to set up an underground or above-ground cushion pit of 30-40 cm in the house, fill the cushion material such as sawdust and rice husk (or straw), and use microbial preparation to ferment the cushion material to form a microenvironment for beneficial bacteria breeding, inhibit and decompose harmful bacteria; duck feces and urine are directly discharged on the cushion to achieve zero discharge of feces. Feces and urine accelerated the fermentation of bedding microorganisms, generated heat, ensured that ducks could survive the winter normally, restored the ploughing habits of ducks, and ate the bacterial protein produced by fermentation, which became the supplementary material of ducks; the bedding materials could be used continuously for about 3 years; the whole feeding process achieved zero emission, no odor and no pollution.

Second, the advantages of ecological duck raising technology

First, it solves the problem of difficult disposal of duck feces, which can be fermented and degraded by microorganisms in the cushion and transformed into bacterial protein to provide nutrition for ducks. there is no odor, no mosquitoes and flies in the house, and the environment is fresh, which solves the problem of building a new countryside. In addition, the duck house bedding material is cleared once every three years, and the older the duck manure is, the higher the nutritional value as feed is.

Second, the disease of duck is reduced and the quality of duck meat is improved. Microbial preparations contain enzymes that can reduce or inhibit growth harmful substances, such as nitrate reductase, azo reductase, etc., thus inhibiting the formation of harmful bacteria and reducing the disease of ducks. With the reduction of duck diseases, the use of antibiotics is reduced and the quality of duck meat is improved.

Third, the efficiency of labor production has been greatly improved. Duck houses do not have to clean dung every day, drink water automatically, save labor and cost, and save more than 50% of the labor force.

Fourth, the feed conversion rate and nutrient absorption rate were improved, the growth rate of ducks was improved, and the ducks were put out 4 days earlier. The use of microbial preparations produces different metabolites and provides nutrients for digestion and absorption of ducks. So that the environment of the duck house can be changed, the feed can be fully transformed and absorbed, the ratio of feed to meat can achieve a very good effect, reduce the cost of raising ducks and improve the economic benefits of raising ducks. Even in summer, micro-ecological duck houses based on fermentation beds are still quiet, refreshing and odorless, thus eliminating several sources of infection such as coccidiosis, thus reducing the cost of raising ducks in another way.

Fifth, it has improved the economic benefits of raising ducks. For the first time, the input cost of ecological duck raising is a little more than that of traditional duck raising, but in the long run, the implementation of ecological duck raising method can save medicine, feed, water and electricity and other costs.

Sixth, to solve the problem of straw accumulation, burning provides a way out, every 20 square meters of bedding bed can absorb 1 mu of corn straw.

Third, the effect of ecological duck breeding.

1. Tiwen, come on. Half an hour of assistance, 2 stoves can reach 34 ℃.

two。 Save feed. The ratio of feed to meat is about 1.851. A duck uses 12.4 jin of material and weighs 6.27 jin.

3. Reduce the death rate. 1000 only about 4 died.

4. Get out of the hurdle. Four days ahead of schedule.

5. Save money on medicine. Each duck can save 0.3 yuan on medicine.

4. There is nothing special between the feeding and management of ecological duck farming and the traditional duck raising model.

Like traditional duck farming, first of all, vaccination should be done to control the occurrence of diseases; the size of ducks entering the ecological duck house must be more balanced and healthy; maintain an appropriate density of 6-8 ducks per square meter; it is best not to add antibiotics to duck feed; the shutter of the duck house is usually open to facilitate ventilation and take away the moisture from the fermentation house. In muggy weather, especially in the middle of summer, turn on the fan to force ventilation to achieve the purpose of preventing heat and cooling; check the growth of ducks daily, pick out the ducks that are too small and raise them alone.

Five. Two key techniques of ecological duck breeding.

First, the fermentation mattress material is fully fermented, and the dominant microorganisms in the fermentation mattress material can improve and stabilize the duck bed fermentation state and decompose the duck excrement. The fermentation bed is maintained all the year round

About 20 ℃. Second, in the process of feeding, microbial preparations should be added to the feed as far as possible, without antibiotics as far as possible. Only by achieving the above two key points can we ensure the success of the fermentation bed, which can be used for 2-3 years at a time, or even for many years according to the management situation.
