In spring, the climate of plum rain and thunderstorm is more, the humidity in the chicken house is high, the favorable grazing weather is less, and the grazing time is short. Most chickens are raised in the barn. If the chicken is not managed properly, there will be a large number of bacteria and viruses in the henhouse, which will invade the chicken, resulting in some large-scale infectious diseases. Tips for raising chickens in early spring:

Chicken

1. Prevent cold and keep warm in spring, the weather is changeable in spring, and it is difficult to prevent things like cold in late spring. Therefore, the feeding density can be increased appropriately and the doors and windows can be closed. Some heating facilities, such as grass curtains and stoves, should not be removed easily, and the lowest temperature in the chicken coop should be maintained at 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃.

2. Moderate ventilation should do a good job of indoor ventilation and remove sundries and feces from the chicken house in time. Open windows at noon when the weather is fine to ensure that the air in the chicken coop is fresh and oxygen is sufficient.

3. Preventing wet spring rainy weather can easily cause dampness in the henhouse, which is disadvantageous to chicken breeding. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen management and pay attention to keeping the chicken coop clean and dry. When adding water to the sink, do not fill the sink, and it is strictly forbidden to splash water on the floor of the house.

4. Disinfect chickens regularly in spring, and disinfect chickens with drinking water frequently. That is, disinfectants (such as parathion, Qiangli disinfectant, sodium hypochlorite, Weidao disinfectant, etc.) are added to the chicken's drinking water in proportion and carried out once a week. The floor of the chicken house can be disinfected with dry powder disinfectants such as strong disinfectant and lime, which is more appropriate twice a week.

5. Supplementary lighting. In general, the total time of illumination in a chicken house should not be less than 14 hours per day, but not more than 17 hours. When there is not enough light during the day, artificial light can be used to supplement it, and the intensity should be 2: 4 watts per square meter of chicken house area.

6. Reduce stress feeding, add water, pick up eggs, disinfect, clean up feces, clean up and other work should have a certain amount of time, when working, the action should be light. At the same time, in the chicken feed or drinking water, add appropriate amount of vitamins or other anti-stress drugs to prevent and reduce the occurrence of stress reaction in chickens.

7. Increase the energy in spring and feed the chicken with sufficient energy. In the diet, in addition to maintaining a certain proportion of protein, it is also necessary to appropriately increase the high-energy feed containing more starch and sugar to meet the needs of chickens.

8. To increase the physique, in addition to regular vaccination of chickens, we can also feed some preventive drugs to appropriately increase the content of vitamins and trace elements in feed.

9. Eliminate rodent damage. In spring, rats often gather in the henhouse, so try to eliminate them.
