In July, thunderstorms increased and peanuts entered a vigorous growth stage, and its management focused on weeding by ploughing, topdressing outside roots, chemical regulation, and pest control. The specific measures are:

peanut

1. Ploughing and weeding

Peanut should be ploughed to loosen the soil in time to promote the root system and inhibit the resurrection of weeds. 3-4 times of intertillage are needed during the growth period of peanut. After the peanut seedlings are full, the first intertillage should be carried out, the intertillage should be shallow, so as not to bury the seedlings; the second intertillage should be carried out 15-20 days after clearing the seedlings, and the intertillage should be deep to facilitate the extension of the root system; the third and fourth intertillage should be completed before closing ridges.

2. Extra-root topdressing

In order to prevent peanut from being de-fertilized, 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 2% urea can be foliar sprayed for 1 / 2 times.

3. Chemical regulation

During the growth of peanuts. If you encounter high temperature and rainy weather, it is easy to make the plant grow. When the peanut plant is superior to 40cm, the chemical control agent Peanut Aifeng (25g / mu) should be used in time to control the growth of peanut by foliar spraying (25g / mu) with water of 15ml / 30kg at the early flowering stage or needle stage, and the yield increase is generally more than 20%.

4. Peanut diseases and insect pests

(1) Peanut diseases

There are mainly blight, root rot, stem rot, peanut leaf spot, peanut rust and so on. Leaf blight, root rot and stem rot can be sprayed with 1000 times of 50% strong fungicide; peanut leaf spot can be sprayed with 50% carbendazim at the initial stage of the disease, once every 7 days, a total of 2 to 3 times; peanut rust is sprayed with 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder in the early stage of peanut rust.

(2) Peanut pests

Mainly root-knot nematodes, grubs, peanut aphids, red and white spiders and so on. Peanut root-knot nematode disease, at the initial stage of occurrence, the root was drenched with avermectin 3000 times solution; in the early stage of the occurrence of peanut red and white spiders, avermectin 3000 times liquid was sprayed on the leaves; peanut grubs were controlled in late June to early July with 50% phoxim EC 50-100g mixed with bait 3-4kg per mu, scattered in the seed ditch. For leaf-eating pests such as Helicoverpa armigera and bridge worms in the middle stage of peanut growth, 2.5% cyhalothrin EC + 50% chlorpyrifos EC can be sprayed with 1500 Mel 2000 times.
