Raising chickens in the mountains is not a nuisance to the people, and the range of activities of chickens is also larger, the intake of chickens is also relatively rich, and the meat of chickens raised in the mountains is compact and fragrant, and the market demand is greater. Although raising chickens in the mountains has many advantages, we should also pay attention to four points:

Raise chickens on the mountain

First, site selection. Chicken farms should be selected in the leeward sunny mountain recesses, there are grass and trees, trees can shade and enjoy the cool, grass can be eaten. A simple chicken house that is warm in winter and cool in summer is built in a dry place.

Second, raising. After being kept at home for 30 to 45 days, and then moved to the mountains, the survival rate is higher. Release chickens during the day, bask in the sun and look for food. Breakfast and lunch can be fed half full, give full play to the enthusiasm of chickens to find their own food, dinner to feed. The bottom of the trough is big and small, and the inner edge is nailed on the mouth, which can not only prevent the chicken from picking out the feed or hooking out the feed with the chicken beak, but also prevent the chicken from shitting into the trough. From dark to 10 o'clock at night in summer, an electric lamp is hung 1 meter high from the chicken house to lure worms to feed the chickens. Without electricity, you can hang a kerosene lamp. Give enough clean water.

Third, management. The chicken coop should be warm in winter and cool in summer. We should pay special attention to the attack of late spring cold. At night, let the chicken go back to the henhouse for the night, but keep a dog to guard against wild animals. Clean up the chicken droppings every morning.

Fourth, epidemic prevention. Seven days after the chicken came out of its shell, the chicken was protected against Newcastle disease by dropping 1 drop of Newcastle disease Ⅱ vaccine on its nose, and after 60 days, one milliliter of Newcastle disease I vaccine and cholera vaccine was used to prevent chicken plague and cholera.
