At the present stage, peaches have entered the picking period. After peach picking, some peach farmers relax their management of peach trees, or even do not manage them, which will seriously affect the growth of peach trees in the current year and the high yield in the coming year. Therefore, China Green Food Network suggests that we should seize the opportunity to do a good job in postharvest management of peach trees.

Postharvest management of peach trees

1. Clear the Garden:

After picking peach trees, it is necessary to clear the garden in time, clean up rotten fruits, diseases and insect pests, fallen leaves and weeds in the garden and take them out of the garden and bury them deeply, so as to eliminate the spread of peach diseases and insect pests.

2. Topdressing:

During the growth of peaches, a large amount of nutrients of peach trees are consumed, resulting in lack of nutrients in peach trees and need to be supplemented. Topdressing should be carried out in time to restore the tree potential. After the peach tree is picked, it is the period of nutrition accumulation, at this time, topdressing can make the peach tree strong, the flower bud full and full, laying the foundation for high yield in the coming year. Topdressing is mainly composed of livestock and poultry manure, straw and soil fertilizer, with appropriate amount of three-element compound fertilizer with high nitrogen, medium phosphorus and low potassium and trace elements such as iron, zinc and boron. The method of topdressing can be used to dig the radiation ditch, and the length of the radiation ditch should exceed the projection area of the peach tree. Foliar fertilizers such as 1% urea solution, 2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, or 800 times Yongye life element solution can also be sprayed to prolong the functional period of peach leaves and accumulate more nutrients.

3. Pest control:

3.1 aphids can use 3000 times of imidacloprid or 1500 times of acetamiprid.

3.2 Red spiders can use 1.8% avermectin 3500 times or 15% dicarboxylic acid 1500 times.

3.3 the pear borer can use 4.5% cypermethrin 2000-fold solution, or 4000-fold caramel salt solution.

3.4 scab can be treated with 50% carbendazim 1500 times or 12.5% uniconazole 3000 times.

3.5 bacterial perforation can be treated with 30% Ludebao glue suspension 500 times, or 65% Dysen zinc wettable powder 500 times.

4. Drought prevention and drainage:

The weather is dry, so it should be watered in time. Peach trees are most afraid of waterlogging and are drained in time during the rainy season.

5. Trim:

Pruning the upright, overgrown, crossed branches and peach branches of the same year in time to reduce nutritional consumption, improve the ventilation and light transmission conditions of peach trees, and improve the ability of peach leaves to produce photosynthates.

6. Turn deeply into the root disk:

It can be combined with topdressing to deeply turn the root plate, break the consolidated soil, increase the permeability and promote the root growth of peach trees. And burn the pupae deeply turned out or let the birds feed, so as to reduce the occurrence of peach pests in the coming year.
