Prevention and treatment of gum flow in apricot trees caused by glue flow
Gummy disease of apricot tree mainly occurred on trunk and main branch, and trunk disease was more serious. At the initial stage of the disease, the diseased part swells and continuously flows out yellow gum. After rain, the gum flows more seriously. The gum contacts with the air and turns reddish brown. 3~4 rubber beads are connected together to form round and irregular gummy spots with a diameter of 3-5 mm. They are jelly shaped and turn reddish brown hard gum blocks after drying. The diseased part of apricot tree is easily infected by saprotic bacteria, the cortex and xylem turn brown and rot, resulting in apricot tree weakness, leaves turn yellow, become small, and die seriously.
apricot gum
Pathogenesis: high humidity is an important condition for the occurrence of apricot gum, wind and rain spread pathogens, so that branches, bark on the initial infection. Generally, the upright branches of apricot trees are seriously damaged above the base, the lateral branches facing the ground are heavier than the upward parts, and the branches are heavily damaged. In addition, the soil is thin, the fertilizer water is insufficient, the load is large, the insect pest is serious, may induce the flow gum.
Prevention measures:
(1)Strengthen cultivation management: increase organic fertilizer, reasonable pruning, reduce wounds, enhance tree vigor, improve apricot disease resistance.
(2)Tree protection: winter and spring trunk painted white, prevent freezing injury, sunburn. Strengthen pest control, reduce insect damage to apricot trees, avoid causing wounds when working in the field, so as to reduce the incidence rate.
(3)Clear garden: cut off the branches of diseased apricot trees in winter and burn them intensively to reduce the source of bacteria.
(4)Application and spraying: before germination, scrape the disease spots, apply fungicides, and smear the disease spots with 50% Tuijunte 800 times solution and 50% Carbendazim 500 times solution. Before germination in early spring, spray 5-degree sulfur mixture to kill overwintering germs. At the initial stage of disease, spray 5% 800 times solution of bacteria or 50% carbendazim 800~1000 times solution and 50% thiophanate-methyl 1000~1500 times solution once every 10 days for 3~4 times continuously. At the peak of apricot disease, spray 50% Tuijunte 800 times solution, 70% Mancozeb 500 times solution or 80% Anthracnose Fumei 800 times solution once every 7-10 days, continuously spray 3 - 4 times. The above pesticides are used alternately.
