Peanut white silk disease is one of the main diseases affecting peanut yield. The pathogen is mainly through summer or winter with sclerotia in soil. Peanut can also transmit the disease with seed shell and seed kernels. The pathogen spreads with running water and Rain Water. The disease is more serious in the fields with high temperature and humidity, which is beneficial to the disease, such as long-term continuous cropping, heavy soil viscosity, low humidity and dense peanut plants.

White silk disease of peanut

After the occurrence of peanut white silk disease, there were white silky hyphae in the rhizome of peanut, and the stems and leaves turned yellow and gradually withered, affecting the yield.

Recently, due to the increase of Rain Water, high temperature and perennial continuous cropping in peanut producing areas, the incidence of peanut white cotton disease is more serious, therefore, the prevention and control of peanut white cotton disease can not be ignored.

Integrated prevention and cure

1. Crop rotation. Rotation with wheat, corn and other crops can reduce its damage, generally 2-3 years rotation, seriously diseased land, rotation for more than 3 years.

2. Seed treatment. Peanut seeds should be fully dried and mixed with chemicals before sowing. 50% carbendazim wettable powder or 2.5% carbendazim (Shile) suspension seed coating agent can be used to mix seeds according to 0.2% of the seed amount.

3. Strengthen the cultivation management and eliminate the bacterial source in time. Reasonable control of peanut planting density; timely drainage after rain; once diseased peanut plants are found, they should be pulled out in time and taken out of the field and burned centrally; after peanut harvest, the diseased remains of flowers in the field should be cleared in time, and deep ploughing should be carried out. turn the soil surface bacteria into the bottom.

4. Chemical control. At the initial stage of the disease, the medicine can be sprayed with 50% carbendazim wettable powder 1000 times or 70% methyl thiophanate wettable powder 1000 times. Each peanut spray solution is 100g 200ml, sprayed every 7 days for 2 times, and the above agents can be used alternately.
