Prevention and treatment of rotten Pepper Fruit to reduce the yield of Pepper
I. Cause analysis
Chili rotten fruit
1. Cold damage: This is the most important point causing pepper rot. Pepper originated in tropical South America, sensitive to low temperature, 8~10℃ is more suitable storage temperature, lower than 6℃ for a long time is easy to cause chilling injury. The symptoms of cold damage are water-soaked soft rot or discolored round water rot spots, which are then infected by bacteria and rot.
2. Diseases: Diseases also have a great impact on the successful storage of pepper, and special attention should be paid to the impact of field diseases in storage work. With the temperature gradually reduced, less ventilation in the shed, high humidity, easy to suffer from cold damage, resulting in pepper disease and rotten fruit. The most common disease in the field is bacterial soft rot. In addition, white mold and black mold are also common pathogens that cause pepper fruit rot during storage. Therefore, before choosing to store pepper trees, we must prepare for all aspects, and it is too late to be anxious when encountering cold snap or a large number of rotten fruits.
II. Prevention and control measures
1) Choose the right variety. Due to the high storage temperature adapted to pepper, it is easy to breed pathogens. Generally, the late-maturing varieties with black green skin, thick skin and spicy foot are more resistant to storage, and their disease resistance is strong, suitable for long-term storage.
2, enhance the thermal insulation of the arch shed, to avoid cold damage and freezing damage. At the later stage of storage, the temperature in the shed is generally low, so the temperature difference should be controlled well, so as not to overheat during the day and cool at night. During the day, when the temperature in the shed is high, the film should be uncovered, ventilation should be strengthened, and the temperature in the shed should be appropriately reduced, not exceeding 25℃. At night, the film is covered to ensure that the temperature in the shed is above 8℃. Finally, winter vegetables "cold, snow will rise", later in the cold, you can tilt the chili seeds, covered with plastic film, can still appropriately extend the storage period of chili, wait for the cold after the price rises when the chili will be sold.
3. Ensure that the plants are healthy and disease-free in the field. Pepper in disease-prone plots was not storable, pepper in continuous cropping plots was not storable, pepper in fertility deficient, drought or waterlogging plots was not storable. If you want to store pepper for a long time, you should make preparations in advance to ensure healthy plants. Water and fertilizer should be properly controlled to prevent excessive growth of plants and excessive humidity in the field, resulting in decreased disease resistance and cold resistance of plants. In order to improve plant resistance and reduce disease occurrence, we can spray 1500 times of amisida, 1000 times of Zhongshengxin and 1000 times of chitin with full nutrition foliar fertilizer, and the effect is good. In case of plastic film covering, not good spray, can choose chlorothalonil smoke agent, 100-speed smoke agent and other fumigation shed 6~8 hours to prevent diseases. Do the above preparation work well, can ensure that pepper storage period will not appear rotten fruit and other diseases, will not cause greater losses.
