The so-called grass carp hoarding is pond high-density pond culture, the specifications of commercial grass carp hoarding should be more than 1.5 kilograms, and then according to the grass carp market, the pond is gradually stored. It is important to hoard grass carp and choose two tubes.

Grass carp

Choose a pond

Choose places with adequate water sources, good water quality and convenient transportation. High-density hoarding, large pond area, generally 10-25 mu, water depth of 2-2.5 meters, convenient for injection and drainage. The oxygenation equipment is equipped with sufficient equipment, and the effect is better with the combination of surface aeration and bottom oxygenation. 10-15 days before grass carp stocking, clean up and disinfect the fish ponds and sprinkle them with 75-100 kilograms of quicklime per mu. Put about 750 kilograms of commercial grass carp per mu. Grass carp need to be soaked in 2% Mel 3% salt water for 5 minutes. When grass carp hoarding is completed, sprinkle with biquaternary ammonium salt iodine and other topical disinfectants for 1-2 times with a concentration of 0.5 mg / L to ensure the survival rate of grass carp stocking.

Feeding and management

Grass carp are mainly fed with forage, and when the temperature rises in March, an appropriate amount of grass can be fed. Because wheat straw is abundant from March to June, single wheat straw is used for 2-3 times a day. The daily feeding amount of wheat straw accounts for 30% of grass carp body weight, 50% of grass carp body weight, and grass carp can be eaten in 2 hours. After June, there is a slow transition to fine bait, with grass carp full-price compound feed as the best, daily feeding accounts for about 3% of grass carp's body weight, and grass carp is eaten in 30 minutes. Increase or decrease the specific feeding amount as appropriate according to the weather, water temperature, water quality and grass carp intake.

Water quality management

Due to the large amount of food and excretion of grass carp, the pond should change the water frequently to keep the transparency of the water above 30cm. Change the water every 10-15 days from March to April, 15-20 cm, and 20-40 cm every 7-10 days from May to August. Water exchange at the same time with strong bottom net and other drugs to improve water quality, high water level ponds with 1kg per mu. In addition, the aerator needs to be operated frequently to maintain the dissolved oxygen in the pool water. High-density grass carp hoarding, water testing and fish culture techniques need to be skillfully mastered, regular monitoring of water quality, timely flushing, drainage and purification according to the water quality.
