Jufeng is a high-yielding grape variety, which has a large cultivated area in some areas. Scientific management can easily achieve a yield of 3000-4000 kg per mu, or even higher. However, when the yield of Jufeng grape is high, it often occurs that the grape is not ripe, the branches are not fully Lignified, but the leaves have aged and withered. Premature aging and drying up of the leaves will make the grapes appear soft grains due to lack of nutrition, poor color and light taste.

Kyoho Grape

The production practice shows that the reasons for leaf premature senescence of Jufeng grape are as follows: ⑴ planting ditch (pit) is too shallow (small), soil consolidation is barren, root system is not developed. In the period of rapid expansion and ripening of grapes, nutrients and water are insufficient. ⑵ grape was dry and de-fertilized in the later stage of growth. The plant load of ⑶ Jufeng grape is too large, the grape consumes too much nutrients, and the tree is weak. The old leaves of ⑷ grape are prone to premature withering and decay due to downy mildew and white rot. Improper use of ⑸ ethephon and other ripening agents can cause leaf aging and premature senescence.

The countermeasures to prevent and cure the premature senescence of leaves: ⑴ planting ditch (pit) is not less than 0.5m deep and 0.8m wide, so as to conserve water and fertilizer. When applying base fertilizer, do not leave a partition wall between the planting ditch and the fertilizer application ditch, so as not to limit the extension of grape roots and nutrient absorption. ⑵ reasonable load, do not make the grape yield more than 3000 kg per mu, leaving only one ear of fruit per branch. ⑶ strengthened fertilizer and water in the later stage and sufficient fertilizer and water in the early stage, and compound fertilizer was applied at the beginning of August after the grape began to color. Jufeng grape listed at the end of September should be topdressing urea at the beginning of September. Water at the same time. It can keep the grapes growing vigorously until the frost. ⑷ should pay attention to the control of downy mildew and white rot, especially to protect the vitality and function of big leaves. ⑸ should be careful to use ethephon and other ripening agents in years with high grape yield, and the leaves should not be stained with medicine. Nutrients such as ⑹ Ainong and Yemanbao play a significant role in protecting and strengthening the function of grape leaves, and can be properly applied in the growing season.
