Swine flu is an acute infectious disease of respiratory organs, which is easy to occur in the four seasons and often occurs at the turn of seasons. Pigs of different ages, genders and breeds are susceptible. The main symptoms are sudden fever, lethargy, loss of appetite or lack of food, often lying together, inactivity, dyspnea, cough, mucinous secretions from the eyes and nose. If there are no complications, most of the diseased pigs can recover within 5 ~ 10 days; if the disease period is not managed properly, it is easy to cause complications and increase the mortality. The following methods are often used in aquaculture production.

Pig farm cleaning

1. Do a good job in cleaning and disinfecting pigsty. Regularly do a good job of cleaning and disinfection inside and outside the pigsty, control the introduction and transmission of pathogens as much as possible, and reduce the incidence of pigs.

2. Strengthen the feeding and management. Pay attention to the ventilation of pig houses, maintain ventilation, reduce the concentration of ammonia, and reduce the occurrence of respiratory diseases in pigs. Control the temperature of the pigsty, cool down in summer, keep warm in winter, and minimize the temperature difference between morning and evening as far as possible. Delivery house and nursery require small environment heat preservation and large environment ventilation in pig house. Strict all-in-all-out feeding method, so that the pigs in the same pigsty are all transferred out at the same time, at least in the same column. Avoid mixing pigs of different ages. Feed high-quality feed to meet the nutritional needs of pigs in different periods and stages, and maintain a reasonable and balanced nutritional level of pigs. Swine flu is easy to infect. Once diseased pigs are found, they should be quarantined immediately and mixed with Fever Bijia or Ke du King Kong for asymptomatic pigs in the same circle.

3. Symptomatic treatment. According to the body weight of severely ill pigs, penicillin, streptomycin, ribavirin, analgin, or enrofloxacin, ribavirin, dexamethasone and aminopyrine were injected intramuscularly twice a day for 4 ~ 5 days. At the same time, take Chinese medicine prescription: Bupleurum 20g, Poria cocos 15g, tangerine peel 20g, peppermint 20g, chrysanthemum 15g, perilla 15g, Fangfeng 20g, once a day, 1 dose a day, 2 ~ 3 doses. In order to prevent secondary infection, sick pigs should take antibiotics or sulfonamides, and pigs with severe cough should be given antitussive and expectorant drugs.

4. Vaccine prevention and treatment. In high incidence areas, pigs are vaccinated twice with swine influenza adjuvant inactivated vaccine per batch, which can effectively prevent swine flu.
