The summer weather is hot, high temperature and rainy, the environment is humid, the pathogen propagates massively, the livestock and poultry disease high incidence period. Points for attention in raising geese in summer:

Goose

1, reduce the density: summer geese, the density should not be large, meat geese feeding density of 5-6 per square meter, in order to prevent geese from heatstroke caused by crowding.

2. Control humidity: in the goose house in summer, not only the temperature is high, the humidity is also high, the heat emission of the goose is blocked, and the bacteria take advantage of the opportunity to multiply in large numbers. The relative humidity of goose house is 55% and 60%. If more than 75%, Gosling arthritis increased. In order to create a more suitable environment for the goslings, all doors and windows should be opened day and night in summer to maintain good ventilation. If there are conditions, electric fans can be installed, the effect of dehumidification and heat dissipation will be better.

3. Cooling and heat prevention: the suitable temperature of the goose house is lower than 26 ℃, keep it ventilated, spread fine sand about 1cm on the ground, and build a sunshade outside the goose house to shade the sun. When the weather is hot, spray cold water on the floor of the goose house to cool down, and spray fine mist on the goose with cold water.

4. The combination of enclosure and grazing: after the goslings came out of their shells, they should be carefully raised and taken good care of. From the 10th day, they began to graze, and the grazing time was gradually extended. After 30 days of age, before the main wing feather of the goose grows, grazing should be made full use of the low temperature in the morning and evening in summer, and the rest of the time should be kept in captivity, and the concentrate such as bran, rice and corn should be fed properly. Add more VC to drinking water to resist heat stress.

5. Prevention and extermination of diseases. Just out of the shell of the goslings, each goose intramuscular injection of 0.02% ml of antiserum vaccine to prevent goose plague. At about 30 days of age, 1.5 milliliters of avian cholera vaccine were injected into each muscle. The breeding utensils are disinfected with 5% fresh lime water every 3 to 5 days. Goose houses and playgrounds are disinfected with 1% bleach solution every 7 to 10 days.
