In summer, when the temperature exceeds 32 ℃, coupled with poor ventilation and poor sanitary conditions in the chicken house, broilers are prone to heatstroke; when the flock density is too high and the water supply is insufficient, the fatter broilers are also prone to heatstroke. The time when broilers are prone to heatstroke is from 12:00 to 16:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00. Heatstroke broilers quickly convulse and die. Due to high air temperature and muggy environment in the afternoon and evening, the thermoregulation function of broilers has reached the limit. At this time, the body temperature of broilers rises to the critical temperature of heat shock, so it is easy to get heatstroke.

Broiler

Symptoms of heatstroke broiler: broiler neck open mouth breathing, and shortness of breath, some broilers purr; feed intake decreased, some broilers fasted; as the amount of drinking water increased greatly, it can be seen that the crop of broilers is full of liquid and feces become thinner; broilers are spiritually depressed and the crown is cyanotic; body temperature is as high as 44.5 ℃, soft shell eggs and broken shell eggs increase, and protein thinning can be seen after eggs are opened.

Prevention and control measures:

1. Give up the top to cool down. The roof of the chicken house, facing the sunny side, is painted white with white paint or 6% lime milk. This method is simple and easy, and has a cooling effect. In the case of a shed, cold water can be sprayed on the roof every 2 Murray every 3 hours at noon, and the last time at 8 p.m.

two。 Ventilation and cooling. Open the window door as far as possible to make the air convection, if necessary, install an exhaust fan on the top of the chicken house to avoid direct sunlight from the window door and ventilation hole to the chicken flock, and some greens can be planted around the chicken house.

3. Strengthen feeding. (1) 0.1% Murray 1% sodium bicarbonate was added to the diet to maintain acid-base balance in chickens and alleviate heat stress. (2) provide sufficient clean drinking water and add 0.02% vitamin C to the water, or Huoxiang Zhengqi water. (3) increase succulent feed and put appropriate amount of watermelon peel and wax gourd peel in the chicken house every day to let broilers peck. (4) increase the protein content in the diet by 2%, reduce the use of energy feed, and meet the nutritional needs of broilers due to the decrease of feed intake. (5) the feeding time was changed to morning and evening when it was cool.

4. Timely prevention and control. The main results are as follows: (1) when heatstroke broilers are found, they are immediately transferred to a cool and ventilated place, and needles are inserted into the chicken crown and wings to bleed a few drops. (2) disinfecting broilers with 0.05% Baidu belt spray can only kill bacteria, purify the environment, and reduce the temperature 1 Mel 3 ℃. (3) remove the accumulated feces in the chicken house in time to reduce the multiplication of microorganisms under high temperature and humidity and the accumulation of toxic and harmful gases in the chicken house.
