Four methods of rapid fattening and fattening tender geese after short-term fattening
No matter it is Chinese goose or meat goose, after fattening for 15-20 days before market, the fat is tender, the chest muscle is plump, the taste is delicious, the slaughtering rate is high, and the benefit is remarkable. According to different places and different feeding conditions, four methods can be adopted for rapid fattening of meat geese.
Goose
1. Grazing and fattening. In combination with farming, that is, raising goslings 50-60 days before rice and wheat harvesting, when the goslings grow to 50-60 days old, it is the most suitable for grazing geese to harvest grains, wheat grains and grass seeds falling in the field. In order to improve the effect, the amount of exercise of geese should be reduced, temporary goose sheds can be built, and geese can stay where they graze, which can reduce geese running, increase foraging time, reduce energy consumption and promote fattening. In order to graze and fattening, we should choose a good route, not only a rich source of food, but also clean rivers along the grazing line. After about 10-15 days of grazing, it can be fattened out of the fence. This fattening method has the lowest cost.
2. Go to the shed to fattening. Bamboo (wood) scaffolding is made of bamboo (wood). The bottom of the scaffolding is about 60-70cm off the ground. Bamboo strips are arranged around the shed, food trough and sink are hung outside the fence, and geese protrude their heads to feed and drink water from between the two bamboo strips. In order to restrict the movement of geese, the scaffolding can be divided into a number of small columns of about 10 square meters, raising 4 geese per square meter. During the fattening period, rice, broken rice, sweet potato, corn, rice bran and other high-energy feed are mainly fed 3-4 times a day. After each feeding, a small amount of green feed can be given.
3. Fattening in captivity. With bamboo slices (straw) surrounded by a small fence, each column of 5-6 geese, the size of the column should be less than twice the area of all geese, 60 cm high, geese can stand in the column, but can not hold their heads high, often singing, not conducive to fattening. Outside the feed trough and drinking fountain, geese need to stick their heads out to eat and drink, feeding three times during the day and once at night, mainly corn, bran, bean cake, rice and so on. In order to increase the goose's appetite, during the fattening period, there should be appropriate water bath and sunbathing, and let the goose go down to the pond every other day for about 10-20 minutes.
4. Forced fattening. Forced fattening, commonly known as filling fattening, using corn, wheat bran, broken rice, fine bran, bean cake and other feed, mixed with water, made of about 5cm filling strip, artificially filled into the goose esophagus, forced to swallow. At the beginning, fill 3-4 strips per day, then increase to 5 times a day, 5-6 strips each time. After about 20 days, the weight can be more than doubled.
