The National Youth Elite leadership Camp held a closing ceremony in 2018.

The National Salvation Group Hualien Youth League Committee held the "2018 Summer Youth Elite leadership Camp", which attracted a total of 880 young elites from universities across the country to participate. On the 12th, a graduation ceremony was held at the Performing Arts Hall of Hualien Culture Bureau. The county magistrate was present to encourage young people to face challenges with a positive attitude, had the courage to break through the predicament of life, and shouted to the outstanding youth spirit of the whole audience, which also set off an upsurge of cheering among the students.

This camp activity attracted more than 3,000 outstanding students from many well-known universities in Taiwan, including Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, and Chenggong University, as well as colleges and universities, and nearly 900 were selected. After the meeting, the county magistrate Fu Yancheng even took a group photo with the whole audience, and the scene was quite impressive.

Fu Yizang, the county magistrate, pointed out that every year, a national youth elite leadership camp is held in Hualien. In order to allow young students from all over the country to have the opportunity to gather together and listen to experts and scholars with rich international experience and understanding of world trends to share their experiences, let students learn new knowledge and exchange views. I hope that we will cherish the fate of being together for six days and five nights, and continue to communicate and encourage each other in the future life journey. I also hope that everyone can once again care about Hualien, walk into Hualien and fall in love with Hualien.
