Duck

First, duck plague. It occurs frequently in spring, summer and autumn, with high morbidity and mortality. Prevention: ducklings at the age of 10 and 15 days were vaccinated with duck plague vaccine. Treatment: for every 100 adult ducks, 15 grams each for Ligusticum chuanxiong and Codonopsis pilosula, 20 grams each for talc, cinnamon and licorice, 10 grams for Shuanhua, 12 grams for turmeric, 8 grams for pepper, fried water to extract juice, add 200 grams of 50 degrees of liquor to mix well, give the duck drink. Can not drink by themselves, each 4-5 milliliters. Continuous use of 2 doses can be cured.

Second, duckling hepatitis. The ducks at the age of 1-3 weeks were susceptible, and the ducks occurred frequently within 5 weeks of age, with acute onset and rapid spread. Prevention: vaccinate breeder ducks twice a year. Treatment: for every 100 ducks, 100 grams of wormwood, 40 grams of Elsholtzia splendens, rhubarb, gentian, gardenia, Scutellaria baicalensis, Cortex Phellodendri, Radix Isatidis, frying juice plus 500 grams of sugar were given to ducks for drinking or mixing, 1 dose a day for 3 days. At the same time, every 50 kg of feed, add 50 grams of poultry with multivitamin, yeast slices 100 (mashed) mix well.

Third, duck infectious serositis. Prevention: usually add 2% sulfamethoxazole to drinking water. Treatment: 7500 international units of gentamicin per kilogram of duck body, added to drinking water for 2 ~ 3 days, and added appropriate amount of poultry multivitamin to duck feed to improve the curative effect.

Fourth, pasteurellosis of duck. The most acute sick duck, without any symptoms, suddenly flapped its wings and fell to the ground and died. During the course of 1-2 days, the body temperature of the diseased duck rose to more than 43 ℃, the tail wing drooped, drinking water increased, foam-like liquid in mouth and nose, and often shook the head. For ducks with frequent occurrence of this disease, the ducks can be fed with andrographis powder for 2 ~ 3 days a week, or oxytetracycline at 50 mg per kilogram of duck body weight for 2 days. The effect was quick when penicillin and streptomycin were injected intramuscularly at a rate of 50,000 units per kilogram of diseased duck body weight twice a day for 2 days. Sulfonamides, such as sulfadiazine, sulfadiazine, etc., were fed with 0.05-0.1% mixture for 3-5 days.

Fifth, duck colibacillosis. The sick duck is in low spirits, loss of appetite, increased appetite and severe dyspnea. Laying ducks suffer from the disease, there are egg whites, solidified proteins, egg yolks, male duck penis swollen, partially exposed. Duck houses and utensils should be disinfected once every 2 weeks, and if the disease is found, they should be disinfected twice a week. Gentamicin was injected intramuscularly according to 10,000 units per kilogram of duck body weight, once a day for 3 days, or added to drinking water at 20,000 units per kilogram of duck body weight for 3 days. Norfloxacin premixture was used according to the instructions for 3 days. Traditional Chinese medicine carbendazim and compound andrographis paniculata have good curative effect on duck colibacillosis.
