1. Select and breed excellent varieties. Through clinical observation, blood group identification, halothane detection and CPK (phosphocreatine kinase) determination, stress-sensitive pig breeds were detected and eliminated, stress gene frequency was reduced, and stress-resistant pig breeds were selected. Because different pigs have different sensitivity to stress, pig breeds with strong stress resistance should be selected when purchasing and introducing pig seedlings.

2. Strengthen the feeding and management. The location of pigs and the construction of pig houses should be reasonable to avoid the interference of too many external factors and to avoid crowding and mixing of pigs. After the pigs are mixed, it is easy to fight, which makes the pigs lose weight. During transportation, avoid pig crowding, minimize capture, Baoding, drive out harassment and so on. Even if arrested, avoid over-stimulation. The temperature of the pigsty does not change to prevent pigs from being stimulated by excessive cold and heat. For unavoidable stressors, let them disperse as far as possible, delay the effect, and do not expand their intensity.

3. To ensure the balance of the full price of feed. According to the growing period of pigs, the ration should be allocated scientifically. Feed nutrition level to meet the needs of pigs, regular and quantitative feeding. Ensure that the full price of feed, protein and energy are adequate, vitamins and trace elements should also be sufficient. Do not feed moldy and deteriorated feed, clean and disinfect drinking water, adequate feeding trough and sink, pay attention to hygiene, avoid fighting and uneven intake of pigs. Vitamins and trace elements can be added to feed to reduce the harm caused by stress.

4. Prevent stress during transportation and slaughtering. It is best to fast before transportation, and 100g stress hormone can be added to 300 kg of drinking water. It can prevent stress caused by unfavorable factors such as congestion, sun, wind, rain and so on. The waiting time should be appropriate.

5. Treatment measures. Sedation and corticosteroid supplements. First, transfer the pig to the non-stress ring and spray the skin with cold water. Pigs with mild stress symptoms can recover on their own, but pigs with purple skin and stiff muscles should use sedatives, corticosteroids and anti-stress drugs. For example, chlorpromazine hydrochloride was used as a sedative at a dose of 1 mg/ (kg body weight). One intramuscular injection, or diazepam 1-7 mg/ (kg body weight), one intramuscular injection. Vitamin C, sodium selenite and vitamin E mixture, diphenhydramine hydrochloride and sodium salicylate can also be used. Use antibiotics to prevent secondary infection. 5% sodium bicarbonate solution can be injected intravenously to prevent pig acidosis.
