2. Water supply. It is best to replace powder with granular material to avoid waste and effectively prevent ducks from pecking due to hunger. Qualitative, quantitative and regular feeding, clean drinking water is often in the tank. Food and water to ensure that there are enough slots, maintain the established feeding system, to avoid the occurrence of slot competition phenomenon.

3. Do not feed moldy feed. Duck dermatitis and paralysis caused by moldy feed often stimulate mutual pecking. Therefore, providing clean and hygienic formula for domestic ducks and ensuring the cleanliness of feeding trough, drinking water and bedding will help reduce the occurrence of mutual pecking.

4. Regular insect repellent. Including the expulsion of internal and external parasites, so as to avoid pecking addiction after difficult treatment.

5. Isolated breeding. If pecking addiction occurs, immediately separate the pecked ducks from each other, apply a layer of oil, kerosene and other odorous substances on the wound to prevent the ducks from being pecked again, and also prevent the ducks from pecking each other. Or paste red paper on the doors and windows of the duck house or block them with black cloth, replace the indoor light bulbs with red light bulbs, etc., pecking will gradually alleviate, and then resume normal feeding.

6. Improve the breeding and management environment. Make the duck house well ventilated; keep the density moderate; the temperature is appropriate, and the temperature should be lowered when the weather is hot; the light should not be too strong, and it is best to paint the door and window glass and bulbs red, blue or blue-green, etc. These can effectively prevent pecking addiction.

7. Grouping. They are grouped according to male, female, strong, weak, large, small and breed. Isolate sick ducks at any time, and timely eliminate ducks that peck other ducks and sick ducks that are difficult to cure.

8. Try to distract the duck. In order to change the evil habit that has formed, sand baths, straw bundles or hanging weeds and vegetables can be set up in the field to try to lure ducks to move more, so as to distract ducks and restore their normal physiological functions.

9. Prevention of trauma. Any objects that ducks can touch should not have sharp protruding thorns to prevent stabbing ducks.

10. Reduce various stress factors. Duck house ventilation should be good, eliminate all kinds of noise interference, avoid strong light and high temperature, to create a quiet and comfortable environment for ducks. Chlorpromazine, diazepam and other mixtures or drinking water can also be used for 5 days.

11, adhere to regular disinfection, reduce the occurrence of various diseases. In the process of duck disease, we should strengthen management, timely treatment, improve duck resistance.

12. Collect eggs frequently and supplement shell powder at the same time. If only individual ducks have a long-term pecking habit, they should be resolutely eliminated to prevent other ducks from imitating and causing spread.

13. Purify duck pullorum bacillosis to prevent the occurrence of duck pullorum bacillosis; select appropriate anti-coccidiosis drugs to prevent duck coccidiosis; prevent physiological and pathological anal prolapse, and timely isolate ducks with anal prolapse.
