Ammonium nitrate is soluble in water and pH is neutral. Ammonium nitrate contains both ammonium nitrogen (NH4+-N) with less mobility in soil and nitrate nitrogen (NO3--N) with higher mobility, both of which can be well absorbed and utilized by crops.
