Hericium Erinaceus
I. Nutrition
Hericium Erinaceus, wood saprophytic bacteria, strong ability to decompose wood. Use carbon sources, nitrogen sources, mineral elements, vitamins and so on. In artificial cultivation, the most economical and excellent carbon source is sawdust suitable for tree species. Bagasse and cottonseed hull are also ideal carbon sources. The good nitrogen sources are wheat bran and rice bran. Urea, peptone, ammonium salt and nitrate are also available nitrogen sources.
Second, temperature
The temperature range of mycelium growth of hericium Erinaceus was 6-34 ℃, and the optimum temperature was about 25 ℃, which was lower than 6 ℃. When the temperature was higher than 30 ℃, the mycelium grew slowly and easily aged, and stopped growing at 35 ℃.
III. Moisture and humidity
The suitable water content of the culture medium is 60-70%. When the water content is less than 50% or more than 80%, the number of primordium differentiation of hericium Erinaceus decreases, the fruiting body matures late, and the yield decreases. Relative humidity, mycelium culture and development stage is suitable for 70%; fruiting body formation stage needs 85-90%, when the fruiting body grows rapidly and white.
IV. Air
Hericium Erinaceus is a kind of aerobic fungus, which is sensitive to the concentration of carbon dioxide. when the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is higher than 0.1%, it will stimulate the stalk to branch continuously and form coral-shaped abnormal mushrooms, so it is very important for mushroom houses to have fresh air.
5. Lighting
Hericium Erinaceus mycelium growth stage basically does not need light, but can not form primordia without light, so 50lx scattering light is needed to stimulate primordium differentiation.
6. PH
Hericium Erinaceus likes acid, and the mycelial growth stage can grow in the range of PH2.4-5, but PH4 is suitable. When the PH was above 7, the mycelium grew poorly and the colony was unplanned. PH4-5 is suitable for fruiting body growth.
