Every year to October is the harvest season for late rice and other places, and the ground is covered with abandoned straws. originally, these straws were destroyed, but now they do not know how to deal with them after the haze treatment forbids the burning of straw. In fact, it is completely possible to turn straw waste into treasure. Today, we will introduce the technical points of using rice straw to cultivate Pleurotus ostreatus.

Raising Pleurotus ostreatus with rice straw

1. Suitable strains: experiments show that the ideal strains are: low temperature type, such as Pleurotus ostreatus, Shanghai Pleurotus ostreatus, Jingzhou No. 1; medium temperature type, such as Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus ostreatus; high temperature type, such as Lateral 5, Pleurotus ostreatus; wide temperature type such as White Frida, 901, Shuangjing 8, P32 and so on.

2. Suitable cultivation season: seeds can be sown along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River from the first ten days of October to the middle of February of the following year, and it is the best from mid-October to mid-November.

Third, straw selection and treatment: choose dry, mildew-free and golden straw, and glutinous straw, early straw and next year straw are better. Soak in lime water: press the straw with stone, break the straw pipe, tie it into small bundles, put it in the soaking pool and press the weight on it. Soak in 3% lime for 2 to 4 days and turn the pool for 1 to 2 times to make it soak evenly. The soaking time depends on the temperature at that time. After soaking, the PH value of rice is between 8 and 9, and the water content is about 60%. After soaking, the straw can be further stacked and fermented, so that the composting temperature can reach more than 60 ℃, and the pile can be turned once.

Fourth, improve the quality of bacteria and increase the amount of sowing. The results show that wheat grain bacteria can prevent and reduce the pollution of miscellaneous bacteria without adding organic auxiliary materials such as wheat bran and rice bran in rice straw. The bacterial age of cultivated species is 25-30 days for wheat seeds and 20-25 days for cottonseed hulls. Sowing rate: wheat seed 2025%, cottonseed shell seed 2530%.

Fifth, press material to send bacteria indoor bed frame cultivation, bed frame slightly tilted, in order to remove stagnant water in the material; after sowing, put boards on the film and press heavy objects. For outdoor cultivation, the bed should not be deep, and the depth of the border with good drainage condition is about 15cm. If the drainage condition is poor, it can be used as a surface type border bed, and the inner circle of the border can be made with high 15cm soil ridge. After sowing, cover the film with a layer of straw, and then cover the grass with 5cm fine soil.

Sixth, replenish the nutrient solution. The stamina of rice straw is insufficient, so it is necessary to supplement nutrition in the later stage to facilitate high yield. Specific methods: 0.5% urea solution can be sprayed after harvesting 1-2 batches of Pleurotus ostreatus, 4-6 kg per 100 kg of forage, or 0.2% urea plus 2% sucrose mixture, 3-4 kg per 100 kg of forage. Spraying nutrient solution can increase production by 15% to 20%.
