During the mushroom emergence period, if the mushroom is not properly managed, the mushroom will shrink, turn yellow and die, the main reasons are as follows:

Mushroom

1. Continuous high temperature: the temperature in the mushroom emergence stage was higher than 23 ℃ for more than 3 days, and the growth of the buds was inhibited by temperature, but it was beneficial to the growth and development of the hyphae, which led to the reverse transport of nutrients, and finally caused the buds to die due to lack of nutrition and water. Therefore, it is still necessary to prepare for high temperature resistance after mushroom production, such as building a shade shed in the south, spraying water on the roof of the mushroom house, cooling with ice, delaying the stacking appropriately, avoiding the high temperature and so on.

2. Lack of nutrients: insufficient nitrogen sources in the compost, especially lack of manure, imbalance of carbon-nitrogen ratio, anaerobic fermentation of accumulated materials, thin and small materials, insufficient nutrition, or the premature death of spring mushrooms due to the depletion of nutrients in autumn mushrooms. Therefore, high-quality materials, good fermentation, turning good materials, and promoting thick material cultivation are required to provide sufficient nutrients for mushrooms.

3. Poor ventilation in the mushroom room or shed: the bad mushroom room is depressed and poorly ventilated for a long time, especially in the fruiting period, the metabolism of the fruiting body is exuberant, such as closing the window and transferring water to cause high temperature and high humidity will cause a large number of mushrooms to die.

4. Improper water management: different growth and development stages of mushrooms have different requirements for water. Lack of water in the bacterial layer and insufficient water in the overlying soil layer will cause the death of young buds, or unclean water or long-term spraying of head water will also cause the death of mushrooms.

5. The osmotic pressure is too high: repeated use of salt water will increase the osmotic pressure and make the buds lose water and die.

6. The breeding harm of insect pests: in serious cases, the pests eat up the hyphae and make the buds die in batches.

7. Abuse of pesticides: pesticides are used during the mushroom emergence period, which should be diluted as required. Arbitrarily increasing the concentration of pesticides will lead to mushroom damage. Pesticides containing petrochemical emulsifiers are prohibited.
