The laying rate of ducks began to rise from 60%, and then decreased to 80% after being maintained for a period of time, which is the whole middle of laying eggs. The focus of this period is to meet the nutrition needs of laying ducks as far as possible and to provide a stable and comfortable environment to ensure that laying ducks maintain a high yield level.

Egg duck

After laying eggs continuously for more than 100 days, the laying duck enters the laying peak period, at this stage, the physical exertion of the laying duck is larger, and its health condition is not as good as that in the early stage of laying. If the nutrition is insufficient, the laying rate will decrease, and even cause molting. The key point of feeding and management of laying ducks in this period is to ensure high yield and strive to maintain the peak period of egg production to more than 400 days, so it is necessary to master the following technical points:

(1) in terms of feed nutrition, to meet the needs of high yield, the crude protein content was increased from 18% to 1920%, and the daily concentrate feeding amount of each laying duck was about 150 grams; the green feed was fed properly, and the water grass was fed 150 grams per day (or vitamins). Appropriately increase the amount of calcium, you can add 1 / 2% granulated shell powder to the mixed feed, or put a broken shell basin in the duck house and let it eat freely.

(2) the daily sunshine time is 16-17 hours, which can not be shortened or extended.

(3) the room temperature should be controlled in the range of 5 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, keep warm when the temperature is less than 5 ℃, and strengthen ventilation to prevent heat and cool down when it exceeds 30 ℃.

(4) strengthen daily epidemic prevention, but this period is not suitable for vaccination and deworming. Attention should be paid to hygiene and disinfection, daily operating procedures should be in line with the habits and rules of laying ducks, operating procedures should be stable, stress factors should be prevented, and quiet and good environment should be ensured.

(5) pay attention to strengthening observation, finding problems and solving them in a timely manner. The proper feeding and management of this period mainly depends on whether the laying rate of the laying duck is stable at the standard of the peak period, whether there are changes in egg weight and eggshell quality, whether the laying time is concentrated, whether the laying duck is in a good mental state, and whether the feathers are wet after taking a bath. Solve the problem in time. The dietary nutrition level and supply were determined regularly according to the changes of average body weight and laying rate of laying ducks.
