After the Winter Solstice, the air temperature dropped further and the air was dry, which affected the metabolic function of Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium, the growth rate of fruiting body, the tide of primordium and so on. Especially in winter drought years, low temperature plus low humidity, such as improper management, mushroom and deformed mushroom, etc., have a high probability. Mushroom farmers should do a good job in the management of all parties to promote the high yield of Pleurotus ostreatus.

Pleurotus ostreatus spray water

Scientific use of water

When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃ and the humidity is less than 70%, it is difficult to meet the growth needs of Pleurotus ostreatus fruiting body, and the management must be strengthened artificially. At this time, the water content of the culture medium should be less than 60%, and the amount of water sprayed on the bed should be reduced accordingly, focusing on increasing the humidity, so that the humidity of the mushroom farm can reach 85% and 90%. If the humidity is low and the growth of mushroom body is slow, not only the cycle is prolonged, but also the yield is low, the mushroom body is dry and the quality is poor. Every day, when the temperature is high, water can be sprayed to the space, ground, walls and other places to improve humidity.

Double film mulch

In case of low temperature cold wave, strong wind cooling weather, the effect of covering double-layer film is quite obvious. A plastic greenhouse can be built, and then the intima can be covered. if there are no conditions, the grass curtain can be thickened on the first film, and then covered with film on the grass curtain. The practice shows that the temperature of the mushroom bed covered with double-layer film is 5 ℃ higher than that of monolayer film, the growth rate of mushroom body is obviously accelerated, and the yield of Pleurotus ostreatus is obviously increased.

Supplement nutrients

After several tides of Pleurotus ostreatus harvest, the nutrients and moisture in the material decreased, and the growing mushroom body often appeared the symptoms of thin cover, thin stalk, solitary growth, small clump, light color, cracking and so on, which was directly related to the serious shortage of water nutrients in the material and the decrease of nutrient decomposition ability of mycelium. When the winter temperature is low, combined with water replenishment, nutrients such as 3% soybean slurry, 10% Amoy rice water and 0.5% urea solution can be added to the material, adjust the ratio of carbon and nitrogen in the material, enhance mycelial active cells and decomposition function, and achieve the purpose of improving the yield and quality of Pleurotus ostreatus.

Reasonable ventilation

Ventilation is necessary to maintain the normal metabolism of mycelium and fruiting body. Ventilation is carried out every day when spraying water or picking mushrooms, to minimize the concentration of carbon dioxide in the mushroom room, to ensure that the air in the mushroom room or film is fresh and sufficient oxygen, and to ventilate for 1-2 hours every day when the temperature is high.

Proper illumination

The mycelium of Pleurotus ostreatus grows without light, so it is best to keep it dark. However, when the fruiting body is formed, it needs enough scattered light. Enhanced scattered light irradiation can induce the differentiation of fruiting body primordium, which is beneficial to the normal development of fruiting body, promote its early maturity and produce more mushrooms. Therefore, during the mushroom emergence period, it is necessary to maintain the scattered light condition of the mushroom room, not too dark, with a light intensity of 200-1000 lux, but there is no need for direct light.
